Chapter Nine

"Marvin!", Trevor calls out in confusion at Marvin's declaration but Marvin was rushing in already. "Guards, there's an intruder!", he yells nonetheless.

The ongoing work in the building is immediately paused as all the workers strive to find the intruder.

"I heard there's an intruder, sir. How did you spot the intruder?", the head of the construction who was a human asks.

"The CEO was the one who raised the alarm, I only helped to spread the alarm"

"Where is he?"

"He went chasing after the intruder", Trevor repeats and the man walks off. "I wonder what this is about", he sighs.

'I know you're here', Marvin speaks through his wolf link as he runs up one of the staircases. The elevators had stopped working which had to be her doing.

He had tried cutting off as many people as he could from his mind link but some wolves that didn't need to hear were still going hear what he had said.

'Nice one', his wolf suddenly hears and he pauses.
