“Here I am,” I shout, bursting into Helades’ ominous office.

Nearly feeling ashamed at how out of breath I am, I risk losing the little bit of air that I have still left in my lungs as I take another good look at him.

He is glaring at me through his glasses, and I can’t remember when a pair of glasses ever looked so good.

A shiver passes down my spine, and I cringe.
