Back From The Dead

Bima had finished dressing the wound on Sunyi's chest when the Hujan returned. He looked stunned to see the wound on Sunyi's chest had been neatly closed. Before the cloth from his torn shirt was wrapped as a final binder, Sawedang's shawl was seen neatly folded to cover Sunyi's wound.

“My Lord has put fern tis before I bandaged the wound. The crushed Tis fern is affixed just above the wound until the wound is completely closed. Without stitching. We easterners, especially those around Mount Raung and the people of the Blue Valley use Tis Pakis pupus to join wounds without stitching.”

"Yes, Kang Bima, I saw a fairly long scar on Sunyi's back, the scar almost covered his back. She's told me that the wound healed only with the disappearance of the Tis Ferm.”

"That's right, Gusti, I myself took care of Nimas Sunyi at that time." The two of them were silent for a moment, sculpt.

"Gusti, who will carry Ndoro Ayu going inside her room?" Kang Bima asked carefully. Hujan snapped out of his daydream.

"Just let me Kang Bima," answer Hujan. He carried Sunyi's body into the house, across the pavilion. Sunyi was laid on a simple wooden couch in the master bedroom. Then he sat on the edge of the bed, tightly holding her hand, his heart breaking.

"Why does it have to be like this, Cah Ayu?" he complaining . There was clearly a deep sadness in his voice. His eyes were gloomy. "I never meant to put you in a complicated situation like this."

____________

All night hujan stayed up keeping Sunyi. He continued to stay awake and compress her body. She continued to delirious in her stupor. Her body temperature rose and fell, sometimes suddenly cold, sometimes suddenly back up. Her body was sweating, sweat the size of acorns of corn continued to flow most of the night. he painstakingly takes care of Sunyi. Wiping Sunyi's sweat and continuing to compress his forehead. To keep her body temperature stable.

The threat of Sawedang kept ringing in Hujan's ears. Apparently he felt very guilty that every word of Sawedang was recorded very well in his memory. There is something that he doesn't realize, Sawedang's shawl is slowly but surely starting to fade. Together with the fading of the color of the scarf, Sunyi's skin, which had been pale before, began to glow. It was as if there was a blood supply running through his body.

When morning come, he fell asleep resting on his arms on the edge of the bed. Sunyi woke up feeling the pain in his chest had lessened. He was stunned to see the torn clothes belonging to Hujan bandaging the wound, coupled with the presence of Hujan who was sleeping resting on his arm made her heart ache. She's tried to sit up, but apparently the pain in her chest prevented her. She's movement woke him, he opened his eyes and realized that Sunyi had woken up. He jumped up unconsciously. He really couldn't believe Sunyi would wake up so quickly. Because judging from Sawedang's words, he thought that at least seven days of she's would wake up. The joyful, he shouted for Kang Bima.

"KANG BIMA!-KANG BIMA! SUNYI IS A WAkE!"

It was clear that he was also awkward in front of Sunyi. He can be this ridiculous in front of her. Maybe he's too happy. She just blushed watching he's behavior. The deep love in Sunyi's eyes is clear. Bima rushed over when he heard Hujan's shouted for him. He knocks on the door even though the door is not closed, that's Bima, he always likes etiquette.

"Come in, Kang Bima!"

Hujan welcome Kang Bima entered when he knocked on the door. Sunyi nodded politely with a sincere smile.

"Sugeng enjing Gusti, Sugeng enjing Ndoro Ayu," Kang Bima said greeting.

"Inggih Kang Bima Pangestunipun," answer Sunyi and Hujan almost simultaneously.

______________

"Is it Kang Mas Sawedang who save me?" ask Sunyi.

"Yes, sweety. Gusti Pangeran who save you," reply Hujan cheerfully. The next second his face turned sour when he realized that Sunyi called Sawedang as Kang Mas. Exactly how Sunyi called him. His smiling face suddenly changed. Sunyi frowned at the change in her lover's face. In her heart, she smiled amusedly.

"Are jealous, Kang Mas?" asked Sunyi innocently.

"No," reply Hujan is annoyed.

"Why not, do you love me?" Sunyi again asked a question that made Hujan even more uncomfortable. This is a silly question according to him. People who have entrusted the heartbeat to be shared, are still asked if it's a love or not?

"Yes dear, ofcorse I do. Crazy if not!" answer Hujan of emotion.

"How about you, do you love me?" Hujan turned to ask.

"No," answer Sunyi simply. She looked at him lovingly, his eyes gleamed seductively.

"Aseem!" Hujan cursed. This time it seemed that he was starting to realize that Sunyi was teasing him.

"You just woke up already causing trouble in the court of my heart." Hujan looked annoyed when he realized that Sunyi was teasing him.

"No honey, it's okay. Just leave me alone, you won't be strong later." answer Hujan teased back.

Sunyi frowned not really understanding the meaning of his's words. He smiled contentedly. "Not strong? Why not be strong?” she asked while scratching his head which didn't itch. Her face looked ridiculous. Then he ruffled Sunyi's hair. Sunyi's face getting sullen.

________

Hujan is still busy changing the cloth that covers Sunyi's wound. Earlier, while carrying breakfast Bima also brought the crushed tis fern that had been finely ground. At the same time preparing a more suitable cloth to bandage Sunyi's wound. The wound has been closed, the benefits of the Tis Fern disappear are indeed extraordinary.

Hujan set aside Sawedang's shawl. The blood-red shawl had become pure white like a fresh shroud. No stains at all. He was stunned for a moment watching the scarf in his hand. He felt that the shawl was blood red because there was blood there before and it flowed into Sunyi's body in a very subtle way. It seeped through her wound and into Sunyi's body. That's why she's recover overnight. In addition to the disappearance of Tis fern, of course, also because of the scarf. At least that's what can be explained on the riddle of Sawedang's shawl according to Hujan's reasoning.

The shawl had now turned pure white, which meant that the wounds on Sunyi's body had also completely healed. All the energy from the shawl had been absorbed by her. Hujan again reasoned Sawedang's shawl with his own logic.

"The scarf is named Mbah Tir," Sunyi suddenly said. As if she understood what Hujan was thinking.

“Back then only Grandma had the method of treating with a shawl. Then in 1962 when there was chaos in the Blue Valley and took many victims, she was overwhelmed when she had to help many people. More than 500 people were internally injured. She was trying to treat the injured people alone. Grandpa who continues to pay attention to Grandma's way of treating injured people is finally able to adopt Grandma's way. When she's passed out from exhaustion, He continued Grandma's work," Sunyi tells about the shawl belonging Sawedang.

"Why is it called Mbah Tir?" ask Hujan curious.

“Mbah Tir is the name of the inventor of the treatment method using a scarf, his full name is Tirta. He combines Javanese and Muslim medicine. Javanese meditate to seek guidance while Muslims fast and take some verses from the Qur'an. Then read while fasting."

"That means there are other scarves besides Mbah Tir?"

“As far as I know, there is none, because Mbah Tir made the scarf especially for Grandma. Once when she was deeply injured, Grandma's back was also crushed. Her enemies thought she was dead. Even she was not moved from where she lay because if she was moved, Grandma's life would be in danger. She who was unconscious was immediately given a magical fence by Mbah Tir, as well as she himself was in a circle of a magical fence that he made with the intention of protecting her.

In that circle, Mbah Tir also meditated asking for directions so that he could help her. When He opened his eyes on the forty-first day, he came out of the circle, looking for a shroud which was then used to help her. Internal wounds, including blood clots that block blood circulation and nerves, are removed through the shawl. Granny's crushed bones were also trimmed using a shawl. In addition, Grandma was also constantly asked to drink the medicinal herbs made by Mbah Tir. The second forty-one days, she was able to be carried on a stretcher and brought home. When she's  recovered, Grandma learned medicine from him. Before he past away, he bequeathed the shawl to her along with the spell."

"How did the shawl get into Gusti Pangeran's hands?"

"It was the Grandpa who entrusted the shawl to him. The Grandma past away first. When he was still alive, Grandpa took care of the shawl. Before he past the shawl was given to my uncle-Tukiran- but the shawl always came home by itself the next day.”

“Home alone?!”

"Yes, suddenly the next day it was in Grandpa's room. Worried that it would fall into the hands of irresponsible people, he left the shawl to Kang Mas Sawedang." Hujan's face turned sour again when he heard the way Sunyi called Sawedang.

"There is pain in my chest when I hear Sunyi say the words 'Kang Mas Sawedang. The look in Sunyi's eyes also sparkled Beautiful when he said it. As if there was something that made her happy without she's knowing." Sunyi did not realize what was churning in Hujan's chest. He resumed his story.

“Kang Mas Sawedang adopted the way of using a scarf from his grandfather. Because since it was handed over to him, the shawl never came home alone. In fact, the shawl is only used as a medium if the patient's body cannot be touched by hands, because the wound is too severe. It could be a deep wound or a wound like mine. Generally also used to remove arrows stuck in a person's body.

The blood stuck to this scarf yesterday was mine. Because I was injured before and he used the same method to treat me. The blood flowing in and out of the wound, the energy was absorbed by the shawl. When he took out the Yellow Iron-his bow and arrow yesterday, the blood and pure energy from the blood that came out was also absorbed by the scarf. Then it was redistributed when the shawl was used to cover my wound after being given the crushed of young leaf tis ferm.”

Rain was stunned to hear Sunyi's explanation. “What a perfect family.” Hujna Inner.

"Master, you don't need to be jealous of me. If Nimas Sunyi wants me, at this time Master will not be able to entrust your heartbeat to her," said Sawedang.

Every one dosen't know  since when Sawedang was at the door. He stood holding hands. Hujan seemed to blush, and immediately Hujan stood up and invited Sawedang to enter.

"Please come in Gusti Pangeran," say Hujan politely.

"Thank you sir." Sawedang replied as he stepped into Sunyi's room.

"Welcome, Kang Mas Sawedang, I offer my respect and devotion, Kang Mas." said Silent welcoming the arrival of Sawedang.

"Inggih Nimas, bektimu tak tompo, restuku tampanono."

"Inggih Kang Mas, Pangestuni."

The pleasantries ended, Sawedang checked the condition of Sunyi. He also brought Binahong leaves as souvenirs. Binahong leaves are believed to heal wounds quickly. The function young leave Tis frem is only for new wounds and closing the wound so that it unites. The next step for the treatment of Sawedang always uses Binahong leaves.

Then they chatted like family, a warm atmosphere surrounded the three of them. Kang Bima also joined while bringing warm tea and boiled cassava. The house that had been frozen suddenly shone because she had returned from the dead. When Sunyi is covered in blood, Hujan and Bima thinks that Sunyi can't be helped.

Because generally people who are hit by Sunyi's arrows will shatter into pieces and cannot be recognized. With Sunyi archery skills even a single arrow could pierce several of his enemies. Bima had many times witnessed the prowess of Sunyi's bow and arrow.
