I held on to my red flowing dress, as I climbed out of the car with the help of the guards.

I could hear from the girls by the entrance of the mansion whispering to themselves as they had their eyes to my direction.

Apparently, unknowingly to them I could hear every bit of what they voiced out. A gift I feel the moon goddess knew I was so much in need of growing up.

“Isn't she beautiful?” I heard one of the girls say to the others.

“Her dress looks more casual to me though,” Another lady my age said.

I smiled knowing how much attention I was getting from just walking down the lawn leading to the house.

The minute I walked in, the mating ceremony had just begun and I could see a few people holding hands with themselves.

I guess the lucky ones were already getting themselves bonded from just being around themselves.

And without letting go of my dress, I moved my way into the crowd as I swayed my hips from left to right of the ball room.

I pulled up the sleeves of my dress, covering the scar I had by the side of my shoulders.

Soon rather than later, the main ceremony started.

One after the other, males from one end to the other walked around the ballroom in search of their one true half.

I found it hilarious the way most of the men did, and showed off in front of girls who didn't care one bit about them.

But anyway I wouldn’t blame them either, they were in search of a hunt.

I had felt somehow bored with the way the whole ceremony went and then, I rolled my hair up into a bun as I walked out into the garden at the back of the mansion.

The only beautiful spot I found pleasing and less disturbing.

I had my fingers out in the air, caressing the flowers in front of me.

I moved from one end to the other as I thought of why it was that they smelt so good, even this late.

As I stood there for a couple of minutes, I felt someone come from behind me.

I paused hoping I wasn't hearing things, and just as I became silent in my head I felt him closer to me than ever.

“Mate!!” 

“Mate!!” my wolf growled in my head over and over again causing me to shiver at her voice ringing in my head.

I felt so weak all of a sudden as I held on to the railing in front of me.

“Are you…” 

“Are you okay?” I heard someone ask from behind me.

I jerked at the sound of his voice from behind me, as I wondered why he had me followed.

Surprisingly, the minute our eyes met we both stayed mute staring at ourselves for a while.

And just as I opened up my mouth to speak, he voiced out his thoughts subconsciously.

“Mate?” he said with his eyes wide open.

The minute he did, I could feel my wolf getting so overly excited inside of me.

I clenched my fist trying to hold her back, but I just couldn't at this point.

A couple of minutes afterwards he walked up to me with his eyes locked in mine.

He had his hands up to my face, as we both stared deep into one another.

I had my eyes closed the minute I felt his strong sweet scent coming from him as he stood right next to me.

And just as expected, I went into heat almost immediately.

He had his fingers trailing down my face, with his eyes staring deep into mine like he was ready to devour me on the spot.

I had felt scared, but at the same time could feel my wolf so excited like I had just unlocked a whole different chapter of my life.

I clenched my fist trying to hold back the sudden feeling I was having around him.

I couldn’t tell what it was exactly, but his eyes had such a great effect on my whole body that all I wanted was for him to have me up in his arms.

He pulled me closer to himself as he grabbed me by the ass and just then he kissed me deeply.

I had my eyes closed feeling his lips in mine and still couldn’t believe this indeed was happening.

I wondered how possible it was that I had been mated to the newly appointed Alpha.

The son to the late Alpha.

Was I being tested by the moon goddess?. I asked myself.

In no time, I couldn’t control the feeling welled up in my head.

I clenched my fist, as I bit down my teeth trying to hold back the urge I was having the minute he let go of my hand.

I wanted more from him other than a kiss and I just couldn’t explain why I was suddenly feeling this way.

The next minute, we were both out of the garden as he had me up in his arms heading up the stairs.

I couldn’t stand the heavy bang I felt up in my head as I had my eyes closed clenching my fist.

And surprisingly with all of what was happening, I couldn’t change the fact that his scent somehow got stronger as I held on to his arm by the minute.

A couple of minutes afterward, we arrived up to the hallway I guess led to his chambers.

I clenched my fist even more the minute I felt the pressure up in my head making it far worse from trying to hold back.

He stared into my eyes, like he felt more affected than I was with the mating bond we both shared.

In no time we arrived up in his chambers as he had me placed softly on his king sized bed.

The next minute, I felt his hands on my thighs as he caressed his fingers on it softly.
