Collins Hotel

I sat upon the cool metal chair. Mula dito sa balkonahe ay abot tanaw ko ang buong City.

The sun is already rising from the ground. It filled the sky with mighty colors and splashed the clouds with endless rays of pink.

"Is everything okay there, hija?" Dad asked me over the phone.

"Yes, Dad, everything's fine here.." Sagot ko.

"Just leave the rest to your staff, may party pa tayo mamayang gabi."

"I know Dad, hihintayin ko lang dumating yung florist, then I'll be at my condo to prepare for the party tonight," I said.

Umayos ako ng upo matapos ay hinila ang tasa ng kape sa round table. Hindi ako makakain dahil sa kamamadali kong makapunta dito at sa pressure sa nalalapit na anibersaryo.

I want everything to be perfect, this is actually my first time to handle a big event. Ayokong mapahiya kay Daddy, even sa mga bisita na dadalo ngayong gabi.
