TAKEN BY THE MERCENARY

 ‘’ Honestly you need to quit drinking Loveth. The last time you drank, you almost made out with the club's  DJ. Now it might be the security or cleaner . I need to be somewhere but I am afraid to leave you here all alone .‘’ 

 Elizabeth Morgan , Loveth best friend said as she snatched the glass of wine from her quickly ‘’ I am not drunk ,  I am fine Betty, I swear  , you need to give me back my drink .‘’ 

Loveth replied sluggishly as she snatched  back the  glass of wine from Betty .

  ‘’ I really have to leave. Can you please stop drinking already and let's get out of here  , you are going to make me never come out to drink with you again Loveth .  ’’ 

Betty said as she drags her friend from her seat  angrily while Loveth restrained from leaving staring drunkenly at a man siting opposite her.

" Wait ! That man over there has been grinning  at me , I think he likes me right ? Betty I should have just slept with that damn manager to have the job  . ‘’

 Loveth smiled back at the young man who seems to be looking at her as she made seductive movements to attract him more . She crossed her legs at the same time revealing her sexy legs .

‘’ I am dead ass serious Loveth, we need to get out of here. Your parents are worried already ,  your mum has been calling non stop. if I allow you indulge your alcoholic tendencies any longer, she might come here to find us ,stop blabbing about the whole job thing already , you can always apply for another one Loveth .‘’

 Betty said as she snatched the empty glass of wine from her friend's clumsy grip with irritation , she wished she had rejected Loveth's offer to drink earlier , now the mess is unbearable.

 .‘’ Okay fine , call  Andrew to come pick me up. I really want to get laid tonight. I will definitely schtupp him , I am so loving this new me . ‘’ 

Loveth said drunkenly when she saw Betty not moving an inch she search for her phone .

 ‘' You and Andrew are no longer together Loveth. Let's get out of here right now or I will be left with no choice but to inform your parents we are here . ‘’

Betty bent her head and supported it with her hands holding her head at the temple,fuming with anger . She knew how handful Loveth can be .

‘’ Hello Andrew ,can you  come pick me up , I really want to have sex ……‘’

  Betty snatched  the phone as fast as she could from Loveth before she could utter any more nonsense to her ex. ‘’

 Hello Andrew sorry to bother you , do you mind coming to pick Loveth , I really have to go now and I do not want to leave her in this state alone .‘’ 

Betty said with worry in a quiet tone , she was beginning to get upset with Loveth right now .

 ‘’ Where are you? ‘’ 

Andrew asked quickly as fast as he could

 ‘’  Funbell club , I am waiting till you get here .‘’ Betty replied immediately

 ‘’ I will join you soon , I am nearby. ‘’ Andrew replied as he hung up . 

"Andrew will be here very soon. Try to stop drinking now before you  make the headlines tomorrow as the woman who drank herself to stupor , your dad will be disappointed if you keep spoiling his reputation in this manner . I am getting really worried about this crazy behavior of yours Loveth , after today i am never letting you drink again, never  ,now  l regret accepting your invitation more than ever . ‘’ 

Betty shakes her head with annoyance as Loveth continued drinking. She made her feel like she was conversing with a brick wall, a drunken brick wall precisely .

‘’ You are here , thank God .‘’ Betty said to Andrew as he  walked in .

"I am sorry about the inconvenience Andrew. She insisted you had to come pick her , I am glad you came just in time .‘’ 

Betty apologized quickly as she picked up her bag trying to caution Loveth stylishly.

 ‘’ It is  fine , I know how Loveth can be a handful sometimes, especially when she is  drunk .‘’ He replied as he hugged Betty briefly before staring at Loveth .

‘’ I will call you when I get home,  my mum is really sick. I need to get home real quick so i can take her to the hospital. ‘’ Betty said as she gave Andrew a quick smile and walks out leaving Loveth alone with Andrew .

 ‘’ I will be right back Loveth I need to use the restroom , please do not go anywhere . ‘’ Andrew said to Loveth who kept drinking and uttering  jargons 

‘’ Are we doing it in the restroom  or on this table honey ?‘’ Loveth laughed hysterically as Andrew hurried away . 

She  smiled back at the man who has been staring at her the whole time as he walks towards her 

‘’ Do you want to get out of here angel ?, I know somewhere we can have fun " 

he asked quickly stretching his right hand to Loveth  ‘’ Yes sure , I honestly want to get out of here, take me anywhere you want handsome .‘’ 

She tries to stand up but staggered back while the stranger carried  her effortlessly in his arms .

 ‘’ What is your name stranger? I should know that  at least , I usually don't talk to strangers but I  suddenly got the nerve , so what did you say your name was ? ‘’ Loveth asked drunkenly 

‘’ We should get out of here first before we talk , my name doesn't matter now. ‘’ the stranger replied impatiently.

 ‘’ Anyway, I love your brown hair stranger, I can not wait to get my hands on them , your lips look so hot , have we met before? Do you know me ?....... ‘’ 

Loveth vomited on him before she could utter any other word.

 ‘’ Shit! ‘’ 

that was the only thing she heard from the stranger before a car pulled up in front of them and definitely the last thing Loveth saw before she fell asleep in his arms .

‘’ Is everything going as planned? ‘’ Nicholas Hunter  asked his colleague who was driving as he stowed Loveth at the back of the car with him . 

"Yes the plane is ready to take off and Isabella wants me to inform you the client got pay in full already . ‘’ 

Jed Grump replied quickly .

"We do not have time to waste let's get going , she might wake up soon ." 

Nicholas Hunter  replied as he cleaned up the mess Loveth made on his shirt , then he took her phone from her bag and switched it off  .

 "She is beginning to piss me off already " Nicholas Hunter  murmured as he changed his shirt .  

Andrew came back just to find Loveth not  sitting where he had left her. He went up to the older man drinking  at the table behind Loveth  " Excuse me , do  you know where the lady sitting over there went?. ‘’ 

Andrew asked, worried. "I think she is getting laid , she probably wants it badly . ‘’ 

The man laughed drunkenly as he went on  drinking . Andrew raced down the hall to see the bar man quickly.

 "Hello did you see the young lady over there?‘’ 

Andrew pointed at the corner Loveth had sat when he came , getting really worried and pissed  with every passing seconds, he definitely did not plan for this situation.

  "I am sorry but I have no idea , you can check the restroom or ask the security. ‘’ 

The young man went on with his business quickly as he attended to another customer . Andrew dialed Loveth number immediately but it was switched off and then he tried her mother’s number 

" Hello Mrs . Raymond , I just wanted to confirm if Loveth is home already. I was supposed to pick her at Funbell club but she left before I could get her home myself .‘’

 Andrew said quickly waiting for a positive response. Never in his life has he ever felt like this .

‘’She's not home yet and I have been trying her number too . She left with Betty earlier today . I thought she might be sleeping over at Betty ‘s place .‘’

 Mrs Raymond replied worriedly

 ‘’I will talk to you later .‘’ 

Andrew replied  quickly as he hung up  to call Betty  who was not answering her calls either. Then he decided to call Loveth  , after several attempts by Andrew and still dropping, Betty's call came in.

 ‘’ Hello Andrew what is  going on? Loveth's mum just called me to inform me she is not home and she is not at the cub either. Please is everything alright ?. ‘’

Betty asked, feeling really bad for leaving Loveth at the club.

 ‘’I left to use the restroom quickly only to come back and find her gone. I tried looking for her everywhere I still can not find her. ‘’

 Andrew said as he  runs his hand through his dark curls. 

‘’I will get back to you, wait till the police get there , they will join you soon. ‘’ 

 Betty said as she hung up immediately  . Five minutes later ,   Andrew rushed out with relieve  at the sound of the police vehicle

 ‘’ please are you Andrew Morgan? I am detective Laryor.‘’ 

A young female detective asked Andrew as he approached him.

 ‘’ Yes Detective Laryor , thank God you are here ‘’ Andrew said quickly 

‘’I will like to ask you a few questions please .‘’ Detective Laryor said as she beckoned on Andrew to sit next to  her.

 ‘’ you guys should search around for any suspicious person or evidence that relates to Miss Loveth Raymond disappearance.   ‘’ 

Detective Laryor turned back to Andrew after instructing her team who went around immediately.

 ‘’ So  Mr Morgan, when was the last time you saw Miss Loveth Raymond today ?‘’ 

Detective Laryor said as she pens down Raymond name on a notebook.

 ‘' About ten minutes  ago. I have been searching around ever since ,  also I have tried calling her , but her number is switched off , Loveth hardly switch off her phone , I am sure something is wrong ‘’ Andrew responded tiredly. 

‘’ and did you see any suspicious person around at the time of your arrival ? ‘’ she looked up chewing her pen cover.

 ‘’ nothing I can think of detective.  ‘’ Andrew replied

 ‘’ okay we will like to see you in our station tomorrow morning .‘’ detective Laryor stood up as she saw her team coming back .

‘’ did you find out anything? ‘’ she asked her subordinate  as she walks towards the car.

 ‘’ see you tomorrow Mr Morgan ‘’ . Detective Laryor said as she got into the car .
