Lorcan almost smiled, almost. But when Elysian avoided her eyes almost instantly, something pinched his heart. He remembered the first day Elysian greeted him, smiling very brightly as bright as the sunlight and extended her hand out for a handshake, but cheerful greeting with his hair flapping up and down when she jumped slightly like a kid, he remembered that day until now.
