Tension was building with each passing moment. It wasn't a hard miss. Alpha Grant gave me a long hard look before he considered the perfect word to say to me.

"Who is Cole Giles? And why are you telling me this now?" Alpha Grant asked, I tried my best to stop myself from acting out of character. "He's Adaline's mate." I say as Alpha Grant furrowed his brows seeming skeptical, I didn't expect him to believe me right away but all I wanted was his reaction. That wasn't exciting at all.
