Hailey sat peacefully, staring at her reflection in the mirror. Doris had personally done her makeover, ensuring she looked her best and like the queen she was for their journey. But it wasn't this beautiful dress, the expensive jewelry or the praises she received from her three maids and Doris that made her happy, it was Killian's sweet smile when he came to visit her and his assuring words that made her happy.
