Chapter 30

Axel's p.o.v

I came out of the bathroom with a low sigh. I was very exhausted and it did me good.

"Maybe I will be able to sleep and rest peacefully." I whispered to myself.

I was about to walk to the wardrobe when the land phone at the bedside table rang.

I walked to where it was and picked it up.

"Axel." Samantha's voice came through.

"What." I answered coldly as I sat down on the bed.

"What exactly are you thinking by sending your mate here?" She asked.

"You owe me a favor, remember?" I asked back.

She kept quiet without responding.

"I think by now you would have figured it out. Ian hates her and wants her dead, because of the curse we are facing he's in doubt about her being our mate. He also hits her and treats her badly, the only need he has for her is on the night of the full moon. Turns out she's what we need to lessen the pain whenever the full moon is approaching." I answered.

"I can't believe this. Then why not hide her somewhere you can go to easily at the night
