Colton was breathing on my shoulder with his furious eyes shooting fire on me. I wanted to push him and print his cheek with a good slap but I found my body frozen on the ground, his charismatic aura captivated me under his spell against the will of my rational mind. I felt like the same nineteen years old girl who walked down the aisle and almost fainted when she saw her groom who looked like a walking god on the earth.

"Cat caught your tongue, Parker." He chuckled darkly and it pulls me out of my hypnosis.

I remembered my brutal murder with vivid pictures from the night and with all my might, I pushed him. He stumbled but anyhow caught his balance.
