"Evangeline!"

Mr. Parker shouted and I felt like air left my lungs when Evangeline fell on the carpeted floor with a thud. She passed out and Dominic was to be blamed for it.

Wasting no time to bend down and pull her head in my lap I patted her cheeks gently,"Hey, Freya, wake up." I tried to wake her up but nothing happned. It grew my fear even more.

She's having a complicated pregnancy and it would certainly effect hers and the baby's life.

"I think we should take her to the hospital first. I do not want my daughter's life at risk." Mr. Parker said to me in a worried tone. The same fear was also reflecting on his face.

It was the first time in years he spoke to me and indirectly requesting me to save his daughter.

"I am taking her to the nearby hospital. Please calm down, Mr. Parker. I won't let anything happen to her. I promise you." I said to him.

"Please be quick." He said.

"You're not taking my wife anywhere, Colton or you will face my wrath." Dominic's voice roared.
