"This party is lit mehn" I tell Cara who was almost wasted.
She seemed to enjoy the party and so did I.
I barley come out for parties but this one, this one is nice.
Extremely nice.
The night was wild with over 100 teenagers partying in a student's house.
Gregory did say his parents were out of town and decided to throw a party.
A weekend party. It's our final year in high school apart from prom we need this.
Even though I just hide in this shadows of this party I enjoy it at my end.
Luckily Cara spent more time with me than with her boyfriend who was busy playing party house games.
I also try to stay off sight from Clara.
My number one enemy.
Cara brought me here anyways. I wouldn't be here if she didn't force me and I did need it anyway.
I dance to the music enjoying myself and let my body move with the rhythm.
I barely noticed Cara's disappeared.
I try not to get intoxicated because Cara will be and atleast one of us has to be sane as we return home.
Her boyfriend may not be drunk though but it's better safe than sorry.
So I help my self with a few sodas. More like the only one taking a soda at the party.
Just when the party seems to be taking a toll on me, I hear loud screams and the whole crowd of students disperse.
"There's a creature in the garden" a girl screams. Everyone runs out after seeing this creature.
My curiosity got a hold of me and I take few steps towards the garden.
Everyone was running except me.
It was dark but I could hear loud growling. It was frightening and I did want to run but I didn't.
I let my curiosity lead me as I walk closer and closer.
I notice the black furs with grey tips. The creature was hiding between the plants. What creature was this?
I feel a grip on my shoulders totally frightening me.
"Are you mad? Let's go" Cara says totally dragging me roughly.
She was wasted but she didn't forget me.
It is sweet but not being able to get a better glimpse of the creature was annoying.
"What if it was a werewolf?" I say I'm the car as her boyfriend drives us home.
"O please. Not again. That can not be a werewolf. They don't exist. Drop it babe" She says dragging every word she uttered.
"But it was large."
"It could be a bear. A lot bear. Please Brie. Werewolves doesn't exist okay?" She says running her hands all over my face.
I hit her hand off scoffing at how drunk she was.
**********
First thing I do after waking up was to take my laptop.
Definitely someone had posted yesterday's incident on the Web.
Everyone who commented said it was a bear but I can't belive it was a bear. Why would a bear be out of the forest.
Gregory's mansion Is close to the woods but isn't it strange. The growling, and why didn't it attack.
It's just so hard to believe that was a bear. I saw it. Not very well but I saw its fur, they were spiky and i heard it growls. It was intense. Bears can never be like that.
No one believes in the existence of Werewolves so its pretty normal if everyone thinks it's a bear.
I did think so too if I wasn't convinced of its existence.
Ugh it sucks. I wish I had seen it.
It could have given me hope. Some sort of hope and motivation.
Cara....
It's been 6 years.
Ever since my father died from what I call a werewolf attack, I've been searching.
Only thing I hear is attacks and its always tagged Bear attacks.
On the news and on social media pages.
But whenever I try to uncover the whole scene there's barely any proof its a bear attack.
The press are just assuming.
Killings like my dad's happen once every month and it's always tagged bear attack.
Bears that are never captured.
I go through posts from last night just maybe someone took a photo.
Then I bump into a post from one girl, Alora. It's was a picture of the garden and behind the tall flowers and plants was a figure. A dark figure like the one I saw yesterday at the party.
The fur as spiky as the creature of last night.
I try to zoom the picture in and notice a red long tongue and elongated canines.
Surely bears don't have canines. It is a wolf but why will a wolf be killing people and no one absolutely no one agrees of its existence.
"Now, who's gon tell Me I'm imagining things" I save the photo to my phone to show Cara and prove her wrong later at school.
Feeling satisfied with my research I get off bed to get ready for school.
******
"There's no way that's a wolf. You're still overthinking" Cara says when I show her the picture.
"Dude, stop saying that. You're making it seem like I'm crazy"
"Are you not?" She asks.
"Look, bears do not have elongated canines. They don't. " I tell her.
"It could be a different type of bear. You never know"
"I can't believe how you're turning a blind eye to this. You're my friend Cara."
"Look, baby, I'm still hungover from yesterday. I'm gonna go get a drink. You should stop with all this." She says and leaves.
I sigh. I should have known she won't believe regardless.
Then I notice someone glaring at me.
I turn and my gaze meets Principal Marshall.
He walks towards me with a smirk.
He takes my phone out of my hand and looks at the picture still on my phone.
"You say its a werewolf?" He asks in a low tone.
"Yes sir. At least that's what I think." I say feeling entirely stupid.
"What makes you think Werewolves exists?"
"I'm not sure sir. Just a random guess. I may be wrong too." I say collecting the phone back from him.
"I like your imaginations Miss Manchester but these are myths and fantasies. Don't live in them" he says and leaves too.
Such a world.
I'll find a werewolf sooner than later.
I'll get to know about their awesome world and I'll prove everybody wrong.
Jay
"You have no right to walk out on me," the alpha says.
"I do. I really do." I snap back will my back turned to him.
I could feel him glaring angrily at me, but what did I care.
"Jay. Turn to me now!" He commands.
"And if I don't?"
"I am your Alpha, I am your father. You'll listen to me because you're in my pack and under my roof." He yelled angrily.
I turn to glare at him with a smirk on my face. O, I love it when he gets mad because whenever he makes me mad, he doesn't seem to care.
"Now that I am facing you, what's gonna happen? Do you think threatening me will change anything? It won't. Dad!"
"You'll listen to me no matter what. You'll obey me as long as you live here, "
"What if I don't want to live here? What if I decide to go?" I know fully well that was impossible.
"Where would you go?" He asks with a mocking smirk. Leaving is impossible even if I wanted to but its worth the risk.
"Anywhere that isn't here" I yell.
"Unless you wanna die, you'll stay here with your pack and listen to me"
"Maybe, I want to die" I utter angrily leaving without looking back.
I slam the door of my room shut and roll my eyes when I see Buck in it.
He lays calmly on my bed reading a book which we both knew was an act. He was waiting for me.
"I heard you yelling at Dad." He says as I walk in.
"So?" I take off my shirt and place it on the sofa.
"Jay, dad wants the best for you. That's why he's doing this. I mean look around you really don't have any other choice."
"Did he send you?"
"No! You're my brother and I just want to tell you. You've got to listen to dad and so what he ..." I cut him shut abruptly, stopping him from completing whatever he had to say.
"Do what? Marry? Become an Alpha? Hell no Buck. Hell no."
"I wanna leave this pack. Go outside. See the world on the other side. We've been here all our life. Doesn't the otherworld interest you? I mean Buck what's happening at the other side. It certainly isn't gonna be like here. Where everyone worships the alpha who's more of an hypocrite than a leader "
"Jay! That's our father " Buck snaps.
"I know. I know. But you see, I don't care. Since no one cares about me. I can barely can about anyone else." I watch Buck leave the room in annoyance.
Obviously he had to be annoyed. He loved father and idolised him so much, he couldn't bare to hear me say bad things about him.
I gues I'm the only sane person in the pack right now.
The room feels so suffocating like the walls closing up on me.
I couldn't take it or bare it. I jump out through the window and run into the woods.
My comfort space. I savour the peace it brings to me right before the familiar scent fills my nose.
"Jay..." She calls seductively.
I roll my eyes at her but she doesn't stop. She doesn't stop trying. She doesn't stop coming and keeps crossing her boundaries.
"Can you please leave me? I need you to go. I need you to get the fuck out of this place this moment" I snap.
"And if I don't? Will you transform and bite me or kill me? You know whichever you do, you still can't run away, From me or from you duty"
"Who do you think you are to tell me about duty?"
"I'm Lora, your soon to be..."
"You're not my soon to be anything " I say cutting her short.
She smirks and rolls her hair with my fingers taking small steps towards me.
"I like it when I make you mad. It surely makes me happy" She trails her fingers on my chest.
How badly i wanted to kill her but I can't. She has the backing of the Alpha my father. Killing her would be terrible.
"Can you leave. Just leave Lora. " I say fighting back Willy who desperately wants to tear her apart.
"I'll leave but remember you can run but you can't hide" She says before transforming and taking off.
It sucks. It really does.
Growing up I have always done what my father wanted.
I trained to be an alpha, i never socialzed with the normal wolves.
Staying indoors and heedng to his orders was all I had to do to make father proud and now that I don't want that anymore he's hating me.
Literally everyone is hating on me.
I jump into the stream before me. Letting the chill water cool my skin.
Atleast for a moment I felt at peace like never before.
Ever since this drama started there has always been a fight between I and My father and Buck, just seems to add to all the mess with him constantly siding father.
Wish everyone could see what I see and understand me.
I've grown under my father's wings. Lived in the Pack house all my life. I just want to do my own thing and live my own life.
Just do something appeasing to myself and my wolf.
I'm no ones puppet that's certain and I don't want to make a decision I'll spend my whole life regretting.
I barged into my bedroom, and there Lora was. She just got out of the bathroom looking so graceful. That delicate spot on her neck made me grow wild.Yes, we weren't destined, mate, but I want her. She's a Picasso of beauty, and her aura is appealing. Father certainly got the right wolf. Her gazes meet with mine."Stop staring at me." She says, avoiding my gaze."I can't. I can't even say who's more beautiful. You or the goddess?""Don't flatter me, Buck. Now isn't the time for flatters.""Then what time is it?" I ask."To rethink and make the right decision. You've killed enough already. ""Luna, I did this so they would know better than to mess with me again. I'm sure they won't even dare to strike again. How many is left of them? Maybe 5" I say and laugh.LoraWatching him laugh was so disgusting. He really is so sure. "I hope you're right." I utter not desiring to keep up with the conversation anymore."I want you, Lora. I want to mark you. Let me mark you. Let's seal this mati
BrieAnd just like that, we arrive back at the library. As if waiting for us, Kyle, Marshall, and Stacey stood in the room we arrived in.The smiles on their faces were so elegant, and I could only wonder why."Long time, Marshall," Belwis says with his usual grins."You still haven't grown!" Marshall says, and I almost let out a huge laugh, but something stopped it."At least I'm not hiding. Why are you here? Ain't you hiding." "I'm waiting for the prophecy of the goddess to be fulfilled." Marshall retorts, and Belwis goes mute."Welcome Alpha, welcome Luna." Stacey says."I can see you striked a deal with Natha." Her gaze shifts to Belwis, who was busy picking his nose.'Gross'"We need to find every other werewolf from our pack. The ones hiding here. We need to find as many as they are. If we are going to win this, we need a lot of wolves with us." Jay's voice was filled with so much determination. It was as if he had grown so wise within the last few minutes, and I could feel it.
BrieThe structure before us was appealing to the eyes. Everything about it was captivating. "This should be it." Jay says. We walked closer to the structure but stopped quickly when arrows began to fly all around."Stay behind me." Jay pushes me behind him."Who goes there?" Some men yelled. They were big, but Jay was suddenly bigger than they were."Stop. Don't harm them. " A very familiar voice filled my eyes, and I turned to see Belwis running down to mighty stairs."Belwis?" I and Jay call out in unison. He stares at us with a smirk before signalling the men who look so much like guards to leave."Belwis, how did you get here?" Jay asks, and Belwis laughs."I'm a wizard. I have powers.""But you said you won't be with us through the journey. So why are you here?" I ask."O, I meant I won't be with you while you travel through the woods because I would have teleported myself here already." He utters laughing really hard."Why didn't you just teleport us. We almost got eaten by fo
JayI peek at my mate at how hard she worked. It did look like a struggle for her, but she had barely uttered any complaint. Rather, she toiled hard and did all she could do.It's amazing seeing her scrub the horses so hard and cute, too.I watched her scrub the horses so hard that she ran out of breath."You should take a break, Brie. I told you I could handle all this." I yell."No way. We'll do it together. Now work faster so we can finish this on time. Remember, we have loads of things to do." She says, and I must say I agree with her. We have a long list of things to do, and I've barely accomplished any.Rather, we are stuck cleaning horses and their stable. It's crazy how adventurous it has been since I crossed over.I only wanted to run away from the pack and from the forceful union with Lora, and I met with Brie, my mate, and also with a whole lot of intriguing things and deep confusing ancestral secrets. It only made me think more about home. About my mum. I wonder how she'
BuckIt's rather too soon to be expecting a baby, but it is my baby, nonetheless. I can't deny it.I make the announcement to the council about the soon to be heir to the throne. The news was a good one.We ate in happiness, enjoying ourselves with some wine and food.Just when it all seemed right, the head of the pack warriors walked into my throne room, panting with sweat all over his face. His face had been drained of all colour and his eyes as wide as though he had seen something out of this world. The council members and I look at him in horror, anticipating the dreadful news that could cause him to be in such a state of despair."Harry, what's going on?" My Beta asks. He stood still not able to talk. What could be so terrible that he can't even utter a word.A single word."Harry! I command you to speak before I slit your throat." My voice was filled with so much anger. Why will the head of warriors be looking so aghast."Alpha, there has been a massive attack on the pack." He s
The room wasn't what I expected. It felt like the creature had no taste whatsoever. There were all woods, hideous, and rotten woods. The bed was a very, very weak foam."Belwis, is this where we would be staying?" I just had to ask."Yes. Is there a problem?" He asks with a strong gaze like he already knew i was irritated, but I had no choice."No.""No? Gush Brie, this place is terrible. Belwis, isn't there some other less horrifying room?" Jay snaps."Sorry, but there isn't. Since you aren't paying, this is what you get.""But, but we are gonna work for you guys. So why don't we get a normal room?""I'm sorry. I've got to go now, " He says."But I'll return tomorrow," He adds and leaves before I could even utter a word.I Jay and I stare at ourselves in disbelief. "You've got to be kidding me," Jay laughs hysterically. All I do is look around. From the look of things, it's obvious this trip won't be a nice one.I can feel it."I still can't believe how he left us here." I say. "
BrieI listened to Mum attentively as she stated the Dos and Don'ts.Little does she know what Jay and I are planning. She takes her time giving detailed explanations, and I play my part of being an attentive daughter willing to change."And if you disobey Me one more time, I'll kick that son of a bitch out of my house.""Okay mum. Get going before you get late for work" I say and she rolls her eyes.Xander already left so it was gonna be left with just I and Jay."Be good" She emphasises on the 'good'. I give a faint smile till she walks out.Jay comes out of his room."So? What now?" I ask"We leave now!"I hurry to get changed, packed a mini bag of mine and met with Jay at the sitting room."Okay. Why the bag?" He asks."Well a lady needs to prepare for a trip. I need to pack some stuffs.""Ladies!"He cringes. We leave the house and board a cab to the library. "Welcome!" Stacey says with her elegant smile making her beauty radiate all over."Thank you" we say at the same time. She
JayEverything seems to return back to position as I force my eye lids open.I feel the softness of her palm on my face caressing my chin softly. My eyes open although it was blurry at first but soon it settled and my gaze met with Brie who looked very disturbed.I tried to utter a word but any attempt I made, my head hurts really really bad."Don't try. Calm down. I'll get you some medicine" I hear Stacy say although I couldn't see her, but I felt her presence.I turned to look at Brie who this time was rubbing my head."It's alright Jay. Don't work yourself okay? I'm here for you"I looked around weakly. We were in a well furnished bed room. And it just made me wonder if we were out of the library or still in the library. "This is Stacy's home. She brought us here to avoid gazes or suspicions from people at the library. We do owe her alot. She's been so helpful "Brie utters totally answering the question I didn't even get time to ask.I sigh inwardly and weakly trying to rest my b
ZachLora Twists her waist seductively dancing in my room. She swings her hips and Twists her waist badly. There is no music but I couldn't care less. I love her energy, her body."O my love, I missed you" I say opening my hands wide to receive her.She sits on me gently and makes me drink wine from a cup.My eyes rolls at her seductivenss. She really has the charm."Drink up. You need to feel this too" She says Her words sounds like music in my ears and of course I didn't want her to stop talking. I gulp down the wine with so much passion and hunger for what is to come. Even though I did feel my muscles surprisingly ache, I just didn't give in. It should be the effect of the burning passion.I feel her lick my earlobe slowly."Lora..." I gasp feeling more weaker and weaker. I strained my eyes to notice I had drank the whole wine. Maybe that's the cause of my weakness even though I do know I drink alot."Good boy!" She utters.LoraHe drifts into slumber much to my excitement. I cle
