THE DEVIL'S QUEEN

He brought the ringing phone out of his suit pocket as the car drove speedily along the road. He looked at the caller ID and his brows gathered as he saw the strange number which popped up on the phone.

“Hello,” he answered grumpily.

“Hey, buddy,” A cheerful male voice sounded from the phone.

“Who are you? Be straight,” he ordered impatiently.

“You don’t need to know me. I’m your savior. Turn around quickly and head back to the mansion. Your beloved wife is having a good time with her lover. Hurry up if you want to catch them red handed,” the voice continued.

There was a moment of silence and his face hardened. He felt perspiration all over his neck and brows and he couldn’t catch his breath for a moment. He adjusted the red tie over his neck and he began to pant heavily.

“Who are you?” He managed to ask.

“Like I’ve said before, I’m your savior,” he replied again and his heart skipped.

“You can believe me if you want to, you can also choose not to believe me. It’s all in your decision
