Reyna's heart pounded in her chest as she pushed open the door to Ryan's office. The whispering noise she had heard earlier seemed to have stopped, and the room was now silent. Ryan sat behind his desk, his eyes fixed on some papers in front of him.

"Ryan?" Reyna called out, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ryan looked up, his expression neutral. "Reyna, what brings you here?" he asked, his voice calm and collected.

Reyna took a deep breath and closed the door gently behind her careful not to draw anyone’s attention. "I need to talk to you about something," she said, her voice firm.

Ryan raised an eyebrow, but nodded for her to continue. Reyna took another deep breath and began to recount everything she had seen and heard at the ruins. She told him about the ritual, the figure in the hood, and Lilian's involvement.

As she spoke, Ryan's expression changed from neutral to concerned. He leaned forward, his eyes locked on hers. "Reyna, why didn't you tell me about this sooner?" he asked, his voice low and serious.

Reyna felt a surge of frustration. "I didn't know what to do," she admitted. "I wasn't sure if I could trust you."

Ryan's expression softened, and he leaned back in his chair. "You can always trust me, Reyna," he said, his voice gentle. "I'm here to protect you and the pack."

As Ryan spoke, Reyna thought she saw a flicker of something in his eyes - a soft spot, a glimmer of warmth. But it was gone almost immediately, masked by an unreadable expression. Reyna's mind lingered on the moment, wondering if she had really seen it. Was she overthinking? She felt a pang of frustration, pushing the thought to the back of her mind. She needed to focus on the task at hand.

Ryan, on the other hand, was thinking about Reyna's transformation. She seemed more courageous, more determined. What had changed about her? He wondered if it was the recent events or something more. He made a mental note to keep a closer eye on her.

"What exactly did you see?" Ryan asked, his eyes narrowing.

Reyna closed her eyes, replaying the scene in her mind. "The figure was chanting, and Lilian was standing beside it. The air was charged with electricity, and I could feel the power building up. When the chanting stopped, the figure raised its hands to the moon, and a dark mist began to emanate from the ruins."

Ryan's eyes widened. "A summoning ritual," he muttered. "We need to find out what they're summoning and why."

Reyna's heart skipped a beat. "Do you think it's connected to the coven?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ryan nodded. "I do. We need to investigate further and gather more information. But we have to be careful. If Lilian is involved with the coven, we don't know what kind of danger we're facing."

Reyna nodded, her mind racing with thoughts of the ritual and the danger that was coming. She knew that she and Ryan had to work together to uncover the truth and protect the pack.

As they began to discuss their plan of action, Reyna felt a sense of determination wash over her. She was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, knowing that she had Ryan by her side.

"I'll talk to some of the pack members and see if they've noticed anything unusual," Ryan said. "You need to be careful, Reyna. If Lilian is involved, she might be watching you."

Reyna nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. "I'll be careful," she promised.

As they finalized their plan, Reyna couldn't shake off the feeling that she had seen something in Ryan's eyes. She pushed the thought aside, focusing on the task at hand. She would deal with her feelings later.

"Let's meet again tomorrow to discuss our findings," Ryan said, standing up. "In the meantime, keep your phone close and be prepared for anything."

Reyna nodded, standing up. "I will," she said, her voice firm.

But little did she know, their conversation was being watched and listened to by unseen eyes and ears. The whispers in the darkness were growing louder, and the danger was closer than they thought.

As they finalized their plan, Reyna stood up, her hand reaching for the door knob. Just as she touched it, Ryan called out to her.

"Reyna?"

She turned back, her eyes meeting Ryan's. "Yes?" she asked, her voice soft.

"Be careful, okay?" Ryan said, his eyes locked on hers. "Stay safe."

Reyna's heart skipped a beat. She wondered again about what she saw in his eyes earlier. Was it just her imagination? She hoped it was. She didn't want to read too much into it.

"I will," she promised, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ryan nodded, his expression serious. "Good. I don't want anything to happen to you."

Reyna felt a shiver run down her spine. She turned the door knob and slipped out of the office, her mind racing with thoughts of the ritual and the danger that was coming.

As she left the office,Reyna felt a sense of unease. She knew she was in for a long wild ride, and she wasn’t sure if she was ready. But she was determined to uncover the truth and protect the pack from her evil sister no matter what it took.

On her way back home, Reyna's mind wandered to her family. She worried about their safety, despite their lack of concern for her well-being. Her father was the only one who showed her some love and care, but even he didn't know what she was involved in. Reyna felt guilty that she couldn't tell them about the danger their daughter was putting herself and every other pack member in. Her mother would flare up and curse her, probably supporting Lilian's actions. That would ruin everything.

Reyna wondered what had driven Lilian to this path. Was it a desire for power? Did she have no heart for the pack's well-being? What had changed her so much? Reyna's thoughts swirled with questions and fears.

She thought about Ryan too. What was his true intention? Was he genuinely concerned about her safety, or was it just a part of their plan? Reyna's mind lingered on the moment when she thought she saw something in Ryan's eyes. She hoped it wasn't what she thought it was. She didn't want to complicate things further.

As she walked, Reyna's anxiety grew. She knew she had to be careful, not just for herself, but for her family and the pack. She couldn't let Lilian's evil plans harm them. Reyna steeled herself for what was to come, determined to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

The darkness seemed to closing in around her, and Reyna quickened her pace. She knew she was not alone in this fight, and with Ryan by her side, she felt a sense of hope. But she couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched, and the danger was closer than they thought.

Reyna's mind was racing with suspicion as she watched Lilian slip out of the packhouse. She'd been noticing strange changes in her sister's behavior lately, sneaking off at dawn and dusk, always alone and on high alert. Reyna's instincts told her something was off. She'd tried to brush it off as mere sibling rivalry, but the nagging feeling persisted. She followed Lilian, careful not to be seen. They went deep into the woods, to a place most wolves avoided. The old ruins were said to be cursed, tied to dark magic. But Lilian didn't seem afraid. She moved with purpose, her footsteps light and deliberate.Everywhere was too silent, and the only sound around the area was birds chirping in the forest. The sweet melodies sent shivers down Reyna's spine. She was scared, but she chose not to go back. She must follow Lilian wherever she went, no matter the danger. The trees seemed to loom over her, casting long, ominous shadows on the ground. Reyna's heart pounded in her chest as she crept cl

But now, she was here, drenched, gasping, and looking as though she had just fought for her life. His sharp gaze swept over her, taking in every detail, the torn fabric clinging to her frame, the way her hands trembled slightly before she clenched them into fists. Her eyes flickered with something unfamiliar. Not fear. Not submission.Hatred.Ryan’s wolf stirred uneasily. He wasn’t used to seeing such raw defiance in her. The Reyna he knew had been meek, quiet, desperate for his approval. This version of her barely acknowledged his presence.“Surely, you wouldn’t be trying to kill yourself, right?” he asked, masking his curiosity with indifference.Reyna flinched, not at his words, but at the sound of his voice. She stared at him for a second longer than necessary, as if searching for something, before shaking her head and looking away. She refus
