"I... don't know. Maybe he just wants to thank you or something" Martha shrugged.
Roseline took in a deep breath. Oh! Come on, Rose! Besides, there's nothing wrong in meeting with the King as she had a feeling he probably want to thank her or something - before she leaves.
She stood up afterwards with Martha.
"I'll get going, then" she told her and Martha nodded and escorted her out of the room.
They walked silently to the King's chambers without saying a word to each other and somehow, Martha felt Roseline had a lot to say.
The excitement she was expecting from her wasn't exactly the excitement she was getting. Like...she should've been extremely happy right? Happy that she was finally free and would be going back home. Instead, all she showed was pain and sadness. What could the problem be huh?
She felt like asking her about it, but something in her guts stopped her and told her to just let it go.
