Roseline couldn't understand why her eyes were suddenly feeling teary as soon as she left the King's chambers.
She sniffed and touched her eyes and proceeded to leave the premises.
"Come on, Roseline. Everything is fine now. You're free" she said reassuringly to herself as she walked with her head bowed.
Suddenly, she bumped into Valerie.
She lifted her head to look at her as they walked into each other and Valerie had a bright smile on her face.
"Roseline!" She beamed immediately as they stopped walking.
"It's been such a long time, honey. How have you been?"
"I've been... I've been fine. Thanks" Roseline answered with an arched brow.
"Okay dear. Um... Is the King in his chambers? I'm actually on my way to see him, you know?"
