I had finished making a deal with Francis. He was willing to cooperate because of his daughter. I was going to take advantage of his daughter's sickness to get into the enemy's camp.

I gave him a burner phone, then released him, but not before banging his head on the wall. I warned him not to betray me, as I would have his daughter beheaded.

I tried Alix's cell phone again, but it was not going through. I tried my mom's phone too, and hers was switched off. I was about to call Father when I remembered that there was a funeral ceremony today. Maybe they are all at the ceremony, so I decided to let them be for now. As I had lots of documents to look at before I could go home, I started to work on them.
