Farrell had to be joking, placing Pedro to watch over me. I had to find a way to frustrate Pedro too because I needed space to think, and I didn't want anyone following me around like a fly. Although his footsteps were almost silent, I still found it irritating.

When I left the gate,I walked very fast, making him increase his pace. Then I slowed down a bit. I continued this way, while turning back momentarily to get his facial expression.

He seemed to be having a hard time, and I was enjoying it. When we got to a cross road, I hurriedly crossed the road as I noticed a lot of cars coming at once. This got him on his toes, but he couldn't do anything because he risked getting knocked down if he came after me.

While I was at the other end, I watched as he waited for the traffic to clear up.

"You were a few minutes late, and I could have been Kidnapped at this side of the road," I said to him when he finally crossed over.
