THE MAFIAN WEAKNESS

Her voice was like that of an angel, she sings with all her might not minding the environment surrounding her, Jamaima couldn't stop herself from drowning into the angelic voice of this teen, something about her voice was so special as she observes people falling under annointing just by her voice.

"Who is this girl?" This was her first time seeing her in the church. Her curiosity rose while still observing her body movements.

"I like the way you sing, your song moved my spirit, what's your name?" She asked the beautiful girl who smile displaying her dimples.

"God is really partial, blessing just one person with an angelic voice and also the beauty made for dozens of women is sure what being partial is all about" she wondered why admiring the deep dimples of the teen in front of her.

"Thank you so much, singing is one thing I enjoy doing alot" the teen who might be in her nineteen said.

"You are new here? I do come to this church whenever any important event is been held but I'm sure I haven't seen you before" She said as the teen smiled widely.

"Yes I'm new here, I just got admitted last month, I'm one of the first year student" she answered.

"My guess was right then, maybe we might meet some other time"

Being in the school for almost a week, I'm yet to know all the school rules and protocols, being someone obsessed with praises, the first thing I did when I got admitted was to get myself registered as one of the ministers in the school praise club. I smiled when I remembered the praises I got from people after singing at the praise night, it was sure a night with a difference"

"Can you please watch your front when walking?" I amost collided with a passerby as I hastily apologized.

"Please you have to be careful when walking"the  stranger said before walking away.

The lecture hall was filled to the brim when I arrived as I stood thinking of how to enter into such a full hall.

"Ah you again" the stranger I almost collided with said while standing beside me.

"Sorry for last time" I said as she smiled.

"You apologized before beside I already told you it's okay" she said "are you in this department?" She asked.

"Yes, I just started last week" I replied.

"That means we are course mates" she stared with a smile on her face.

"My name is Cherry, welcome to our department" she said as she extends her palm which I took in reciprocal.

"Why are you still outside, come in" she said as she walked inside while I followed behind.

The stare I got from the students was something else as I felt like being swallowed by the ground. I followed Cherry to the back seat as I exhaled in relief after I sat down.

"Lovelyn is finally in high institution" I exclaimed to myself while struggling to bring out my books.

RICHARD WILLIAMS

He grunted loudly before pulling out from the slim beauty under him as he fell down on the bed.

"The money has been transferred to your account, so get the hell out of my room" he said as he dragged himself out of the bed.

"What? You are not serious,are you? This is past midnight so where do you expect me to go to at this time of the night?" The lady asked not believing her ears.

He turned with a look that can kill as the lady shook in fear, he walked towards the bed and jerked the lady not minding the hurtful piercing of his fixed nails into the ladies skin.

"Now listen very well, no one has the right to talk back at me when I talk, I don't care about wherever you go from here but one thing I'm sure about is that I don't want to see you here when I'm done taking my bath" he said as he heads towards the bathroom.

"You are more wicked and ruthless than they said" the lady shouted before gathering her things to leave the room.

He ignited the car as he drove out of the compound.

"Jaden, what's up with the deal yesterday?" He asked with his eyes fixed on the road.

"Trust me bro, successful as usual" Jaden replied with his eyes fixed on his phone.

"Guy, the girl from last night, what happened? I saw her leaving at the middle of the night" Lucia chipped in with a chuckle knowing fully well how ruthless Richard could be when any of his bedwarmers as he calls them annoys him.

"That bitch was just not dancing the way I want her to so I had to dismiss her even before her paid time was over" Richard muttered generating a chuckle from Lucia and Jaden.

"Take it easy with them bro, they are someone's daughter" Jaden teased while laughing.

"As if I care" Richard replied as he increased the speed of the car.

"Remember to schedule a meeting with the Vice Chancellor this weekend, 2pm precisely" Richard said.

"Yes our able presido" Jaden replied.

Jamaima POV,

Driving into the big mansion,I stepped out after parking at the garage. A white sport car caught my attention as I smiled before nodding my head.

"This is my babe for this month, I can't wait to show it to the whole campus" I muttered excitedly while tracing my fingers on the shiny body of the car.

As the only kid sis of Richard Wilson, I'm always the envy of all the girls in the campus, I always get the best clothes, cars, house, and goodies of life all courtesy of my brother. 

When our parents died in a plane crash on their way from a business meeting in the U.K, my brother took over the family company and I became his responsibility and within the space of three years he has made it to one of the youngest billionaires in the country.

I walked into the sitting room as I met two scary guys busy with their cigarettes as I stared disgustingly at them.

"Where is my brother?" I asked with hands akimbo as they looked up.

"In his study" they replied with less attention as I wonder why my brother even tagged those vagabonds as his workers.

For a fact I knew my brother is one of the top drug Lord of the country and also a ruthless business man who has his businesses spread across the countries.

I smiled as I sighted him focussed on his laptop as I walked towards him.

I crossed my arm on his shoulder as I stared at what he was working on.

"What is it?" He asked knowing fully well I'm always a drama queen when it comes to him, he is the best big brother ever and I'm his kid sis whom he can do anything for.

"You know I have the most handsome brother in the world and it makes me proud whenever I remember that, all the girls in campus are always jealous of me, I feel blessed" I said as I kissed his hair.

"Mummy what is it?" He closed his laptop and turned to my direction as I gently disengaged my arm from his shoulder.

"The sport car outside looks beautiful" I said as he nodded.

"So?" He asked as I sighed.

"I haven't seen the car here before" I said.

"It just came in yesterday from India" he said looking suspiciously at me.

"I think I like the car, since my birthday is around the corner why don't you use it as my birthday gift" I said with a puppy face.

"You are not serious, are you? Just weeks ago you requested for a vacation in Paris as your birthday gift and now a car? No that car cost me much" he said as he continued with his laptop without looking at me.

"I get it, you adore a car more than your only sister" I muttered feigning tears.

He gently closed his laptop as he sighed in frustration.

"You know what? I will get you a new car, just name the car you want and it will be yours" he said with his eyes fixed on me.

"I want the sport car, nothing more nothing less" I said before walking out of his study.

The dinner was a silent one as I occasionally hissed attracting a gaze from my brother.

He stared intently at me before dropping his spoon.

"Look Jamaima, I don't like seeing you like this, please stop being like this" he said as I stared angrily at him.

"Okay I will give you the car, happy now?" I was surprised at his words, I stood up happily as I ran towards him.

"You are the best brother ever, thank you so much" I giggled as he smiled slightly.

"What car are you talking about?" One of his friend Jaden asked.

"The latest sport car from India" my brother answered less concerned.

"I didn't just hear that, what sport car are you talking about?" I stared angrily at his persistent question, I knew he was up with his usual disagreement about my brother excess care for me.

"The new one" my brother answered.

"You know you can't do that, that car is supposed to be sent to the minister first thing tomorrow morning, you know he paid heavily for it"  Jaden querried as my brother focussed on his food not saying a word.

"Okay, let's just say Jamaima takes the car as you just said, what excuse are you going to give to the minister because I know you can't obviously import this same car before tomorrow morning, it's just one in the whole world, tell me what excuse will you give?" Jaden asked as I rolled my eyes wondering why he can't mind his business.

"I will refund his money to him, that's the only option" my brother answered.

"Just listen to yourself, are you sure you are okay? He bought the car as a birthday present for his wife and you think he will ever do business with you if you ever disappoint him? Richard you can…."

"Just stop it, you've got no right to question my decision, remember I'm the boss here so keep your mouth shut" my brother said as I muffled a laugh while staring at the speechless Jaden.

Lucia smiled not saying a word all through the conversation, he is always a guy who minds his business and I love him for that.
