Chapter 12

“She’s gone” the word keeps on ringing in her head as she moves her feet heavily to meet her already lifeless mom, her heart felt so heavy, and she wanted to cry so badly but tears were denying her, She couldn’t bring herself to cry until she sees her mom.

Until she confirms with her eyes that she’s gone. The voices of the nurse and doctor calling echoed somewhere in her brain, but she wasn’t stopping, she keeps on moving her legs until she stands in front of the door.

She moved her hand to open the door, but her hands were shaking, she wanted to be in denial so badly, she wanted to open the door and see her mom sitting down and welcoming her in with her smile and her faint voice calling her name.

She finally hands the zeal to open the door, and she opens the door ajar rushing inside the room, she looks at her mom covered up with a white bedsheet, opens the bedsheet up, and she saw her sleeping beautifully and never waking up again.
