"Lucas is dead!"
Albert continue mixing the French tea Peru made for him. He added a cube of sugar and stir. Then took a sip and nodded in satisfaction. While his guest pace worriedly in front of him.
"I heard the news, it all over the internet. I knew he wouldn't last long, having a whole lot of weird and creep things in his house. What do you expect?" He replied his guest, his voice low and authoritative. He was huge and mighty. And he obviously behaved like the king he was, owner of Hans Town. He was Albert Ambrose. The wealthiest and powerful man of the town. His shoulders were held high and he does everything he deem fit. With giving a damn what his actions would cause. He thought of running for politics, if I man like him, go for politics, it’s all over for Hans town.
"He did cause his death" Peru responded
with a nod. There was a little difference in their statues. Peru was more scared and had less of those pretentious gaze and appearance. There was so much about him that Albert doesn’t know, Peru was more than he thought of him.
A loyal friend.
“We warned him. Didn’t we?”
“We did try our best. That was his job anyway we couldn’t possibly stop him from being a paranormal researcher. All we had to do was distance ourselves from him. We knew he if he was gonna get killed it has to be something he stuck up in his house that could kill him.”
“Well you’re right.”
Albert shrugged and chugged down the tea. “I’m always am.”
Yeah right.” Peru mouthed while his back was against him.
“Getting to love the taste every time you made it.”
Peru smiled and glanced round the house.
"Is Linda home?" Albert lean into the chair sipping his tea
"She has gone to the prison". Peru exhale, taking a seat close to him.
“What do you want to talk about?”
“I think he might be released anytime soon. Dixon I mean. He’s about to be released.”
Albert dropped the cup, with his gaze fixed on him.
“You have to do something about it, he gonna ruin you Albert...”
“I’ve passed that, Peru, he couldn’t possibly ruin me now. He’s Dixon my son.”
“And What would you do when the world who Albert Ambrose is? He was close enough remember.”
Albert gave it a thought.
Peru continued saying words as if it was an incantation or something. Whispering them in his ear.
Albert Shut his eyes listening to the voice. Which sounds so pleasant to his ears nodding to every word.
“Now back to Lucas..” he leaned away, as if nothing happened a while ago.
And they never had that conversation.
“Lucas?”
“Of course Albert...” he paused his lips and moved closer.
“Haven’t you thought about what or who killed him.” Albert raised a brow at him.
"He wasn't killed by any of those weird stuff but by someone.." he glance around again then lower his voice "A girl". Albert eyes dart to him.
" which girl?"
"The girl in his basement " Albert eyes grew wide.
" The only problem is that we didn't get to see her face since her hair was covering them."
"how on earth did she kill him?"
" She tore his flesh with her fingers and dug them into his heart and pulled it out and...."
“Enough Peru.”
Albert looked away
“The way she killed him, gave me creeps.” He rubbed his hands down his shoulders.
"What if she comes for us?" Peru asked
"What do you mean?"
"I think she saw us that day in the basement with Lucas she might have heard what we said in the basement that's what am scared of"
Albert rubbed his temple totally confused.
“Give me another tea.”
Peru nodded and stood up. Making another tea as he required. With a slight smirk plastered on his face.
"And Anika?"
"She's still missing".
He buried his head on his palm.
“She’s escape I think. She lost an eye.”
“Here”
He gave him the tea.
He gulped it down at once and exhaled.
"She’s mute right?”
Peru returned to his seat.
“Yeah, she can’t speak.”
"That’s much to our advantage then.”
He turned to Peru.
“We’ll find her and kill her.”
Peru eyes gleamed.
"Kill her!"

Linda waited patiently till the prison door opened, it felt like yesterday when he was thrown into prison for murder, confused, shock and overwhelmed, she couldn’t describe how she felt at that time, it was a awful moment she doesn’t want to remember, how the paparazzi followed them about, how he lost his fans, everyone turned against him. He was cursed, The company suffered a great loss because of it. But the one who suffered the most was Dixon, because she believed in him, he was her son. And he was innocent. Didn’t deserve to be in prison. Though they were rich, they couldn’t get him out, no matter how hard they tried.
She wipes her face with the back of her hands, she doesn’t want him to see her crying.
After all they did. Mostly her, cause Albert didn’t do anything at all. He didn’t help. All he did was complain about what he’s done to his reputation and his company.
He’s finally leaving gaol. She sniffed, cleaning her face from any trace of tears. That was what matters, nothing else does.
He tread lazily towards her. His head held a little scar at the side. New injury on his arm and another old scar at his upper arm. His lips were crack and dry, his eyes held no emotions and were dull gray. Dark circles surrounds it. She sprang on her feet her heels clicking on the floor, pulled him in a tight hug.
"Linda" he drawled. With a quick glance at her. Pulled away from her and took his seat.
"You should call me mom" she scolded with a eye roll. She sat, facing him.
Smiling softly she reached out to him but he drew back from her reach.
"Stop doing that" she reached out again trying to clasps her hands on his but he lean back. Giving her a bored look.
“Ain’t you tired of all this mother and son love. Does it make any sense at all.”
“It’s makes a lot of sense to me, and I won’t stop trying to make up for our lost time together, I won’t stop trying to be a mother to you. Because I love you Dixon.” Tears streamed down her cheeks on its own free will and she did nothing to stop them.
"Why are you here?" He questioned sounding as rude as he could be.
She turn away, pulling out an handkerchief from her clutch bag and dabbed her eyes with it.
"I brought you good news" she turn to face him. Smiling, though it came with tears pouring down again.
"Good news huh?" He puffed irritably. When was the last time he heard something like that. Centuries ago?
Couldn’t say, the word good news sound strange to him.
"I don't know why you keep doing this to me. You’re hurting me, I’ve tried all I could and won’t stop trying till....”
"So what's the good news about" he cuts in. Staring down at her manicure fingers. Not her face.
She sniff and blew her nose into the handkerchief. Staring at the stoic face he had on. Suddenly losing her confidence.
" Linda" he taps his slender fingers on the table and paused his lips.
"I am your mother"
"Never said you weren't" he almost snapped at her. Linda look away and was welcomed by peering eyes which made her twitch uncomfortably in her seat.
Then she turned to him.
"The good news is, you're getting out of here" she announced and smile weakly at him.
"Wwhat" he spurred. That didn’t quite get in, what was that supposed to be. He was getting out of prison how is that even possible, is it a prank or something.
Linda nodded. Severally.
"Linda. What’s this you’re saying.” his voice was low and his face has fallen. His eyes were glistening with tears.
"You have grown so much and I miss you" she wipe the tears that was streaming down her cheek with her thump.
"It been five years"
"I know.." she nodded again and lean closer.
" That's why I hurried down here to tell you"
"Linda" his voice quaver
Eventually she clasped her hand over his giving it light squeeze.
She smiled sweetly at him.
"You're gonna be released!"

Detective Sean opened the door of the underground basement, he cringed, seeing the sight before him. Making him retreats his footsteps. The twenty years he had been working as a detective and the the thirty five years he had spent in this town. He hadn’t seen a thing as this. Blood was was all over the wall. There was a writing in blood as well.‘Don’t look for me, look for me you die.’It did give him chills. The forensic department were there, running a test on the items on basement. But he couldn’t see them at the moment, the only thing he saw was the blood on the wall. He couldn’t seem to get his eyes off it.What the hell are you?His gaze was on the room, eve
Dixon stared at the apartment he was quite familiar with, he felt like he was back to five years ago. Hanging out in the tall tree beside her house. Where they would sit and laugh and cuddle, underneath the tree. His ran run through the tree. Feeling it. Bringing back the memories of their romance. He smiled but a sad one. He moved away, staring at the brown wooden door. Remembering when he had helped her moved into this house. Asking her why she choose this apartment. She loved the serenity and nature. That was her reply then. He had grown to love her then, at first when Linda brought her to him. He hadn’t had any interest in her then. "Hold on. I'll be there in a sec" her tiny voice yelled, the burning sensation
"This is it?" Dixon asked, staring at the old house. Slightly bent to the side. Like it was gonna fall anytime soon. The walls having a crinkle lines on it, making the house look like a crone. It was the least of what he was expecting. " What were you expecting" she retorted" A beggar has no choice" she scorn at him, pulling out the crispy notes from his hands. “You’re still taking this from me! It all I have left..and am not a beggar, if I am a beggar it will be a beggar with choice.”Though she was old, she wasn't anything like it." Ho-ho" she snickered at what he said."Dixon, the supposed heir.. you’re one proud animal.”
Her hands quake on the table and she shuddered in fright. Her eyes flattered on its own. When she opened them, it was black. Slowly she let out a low growl. Racing out of the kitchen.Running into the room she came out from, quickly she hid behind the bed, curling in a tight ball. She need to control herself. It felt like her body was tearing apart. She was getting larger. And larger her taste for blood was so No, no she needs to control herself. She’s not a demon, she doesn’t want to be one.She hugged herself, buried her head in between her thighs. She couldn’t control it, it was bigger and larger than she was. Slowly, crawling out from beneath the bed. Looking for the nearest exit. And that was the back door.
Albert gaze at his reflection in the mirror. His eyes were small and having some dark circles around it. Fixing his tie. He throw a glance at the bed. It was empty as it has been the past days. Linda had choose to sleep in the guest room. Ever since he sent Dixon out. She just can’t understand. Fixing his tie properly, took the briefcase on the table and began walking out of the room. “Good mm—m.....”“Is your mother up yet?”“She hasn’t been ou—out of her room sin-“ Bruce stutters in fear. The sight of Albert is something he couldn’t behold. He deadly look he gets from him every single time. The fear was still in him. He doubt if he would ever get over it.
Dixon hands over the cup of coffee to ms Teresa and slump on the seat next to her. While munching the cookies he made. Staring absentmindedly on the TV set. “Why the glum look?”“Why won’t there be a glum look.” He retorted.“Calm down Dixon, will you. Just smile a bit. You’re look threatening.” “So she could leave! My heart is as hard as stone. I might end up killing her.”Do you mean to say she might end up killing you. Cause she doesn’t look like someone who has a heart. He force a smile which turns out to be a grimace. Ms Teresa chuckles.“You should be happy, you a
Having washed up and change into something new. He checked his wrist watch. He was getting late. He hurried down stairs, still thinking of the best way to approach alien. He kind of like calling her that. Though Something she looks intimidating. And sometimes, small and innocent. What’s he gonna do to her?Nothing! Not like he could do anything. Than try understand her.As ms Teresa said.Which seems like a workload. That’s never gonna easy. She was still seated on the dining table where they had left
