Roy ran into the house. Shutting the door immediately he entered. He was panting, he had been so scared a while ago, so scared, he didn’t expect to see her like that. And everything now had been in vain. Just like that. Now, this happened. She must be dead now, she must have killed her, Anika was probably dead. There are no two ways about it because of the looks she has on her face. There’s no way anyone survives that.

He raced to the bedroom and slumped on the bed. With his hands on his chest. What a narrow escape, it was still late in the night, dark and awfully quiet. Beryl stole a glance at him. And looked away, she didn’t say anything. She pretended that she was still chained to the bed. Still, glued to where he left her, she shut her eyes pretending not to notice him or do anything or say anything to him. The bastard, this was his night. She remained on spot Waiting for him to come to her.
