RISING RAGE

The shattered glasses lay on the floor beside the overturned stool, while they just stood, gawking at everything to divert their minds from the thoughts of the previous incident.

Without thinking much, she made an involuntary attempt to gather the glasses with her bare hands, but he grabs her wrist, suspending her hand midway to the floor.

"In situations like this, you employ the use of the mechanoid. It can attend to basic tasks as this. All you have to do is just instruct it!" He protests.

She nods and clears her throat, before retreating from him to get the mechanoid. The silence created an uneasy atmosphere, as he sought for things to do, so as to return to his original state of mind.

As the mechanoid took care of the shattered glasses, she clears her throat, summed up the courage and walks up to him.

“I think the rain has finally subsided. I might not get this chance ever again!” she said gauchely.
