“I… will do it,” I agreed nervously and went over to Blake’s side, sitting on his lap. I wasn’t even wearing any panties, so I was sure he could feel it.

I hadn’t even started rocking him yet, and he was already hard, his dick poking against my thighs. After a minute of sitting still, I began moving slowly, rocking him, and he kept getting harder through his pants. When I was done, I stood up, leaving him painfully hard. His face was red, veins popped along his neck, and his jaw was clenched tight.

“Way to go, Becky, you left him hard,” Abby said with a smirk curling on her lips. I so badly wanted to wipe it off. This game was getting too intense, and I had to ask if we could end it or play something else because I didn’t want to be asked anything so bold again.

“Could we play another game?” I asked.

“No way, Becky. We’ll only stop when we’re drunk or tipsy,” Lily announced, and I knew I had to brace myself and hope it didn’t point at me again.

A few minutes passed, and luckily, it didn’t land on me because I honestly didn’t know how I would cope if it did. After Blake finished spinning, it was my turn.

I spun it, and it pointed straight at Blake. I smiled because it was finally my chance to find out who his crush was.

“Truth or dare?” I asked, hoping he’d choose truth.

“Truth,” he said, and I silently thanked the heavens.

“Who do you like?” I asked, keeping my eyes locked on his.

Blake didn’t say a word. Instead, he poured himself a glass of beer and downed it in one gulp.

“That’s your last drink, Blake, since you’ll be driving us home,” Lily reminded him, and he nodded in acknowledgment.

Half a minute later, we were all already drunk, well apart from Blake, who had to stay sober. Getting drunk wasn’t easy for me since I was a werewolf; it took at least three bottles just to get me tipsy, not wasted like Abby and Lily.

“Let’s go dance!” Lily said, dragging me toward the dance floor while Abby pulled Blake along.

Lily and I danced wildly together until she spotted a handsome guy and started grinding on him, leaving me to dance alone.

Someone tapped my shoulder, and I almost attacked them until I realized it was Blake.

“Hey, it’s me,” he said with a chuckle.

“Don’t sneak up on me again,” I warned, and he nodded like an obedient child.

“Where’s Abby?” I asked, remembering she’d dragged him earlier.

“She’s dancing with some dude right now, grinding him like crazy,” Blake said, shaking his head.

“Let’s dance,” I offered, noticing a faint blush creep onto his cheeks. I wondered why, because I was just asking him to dance.

“Okay,” he replied softly, and with that, I turned around and began grinding him slowly, seductively. I pushed my dress up a little so I could feel his hard dick press against me, and damn, it was hard.

“Becky, I don’t think this is a good idea,” he said, panting, but I kept moving against him. I was drunk and not in my right state of mind.

I rocked him for minutes, feeling how much harder he got, like he was about to lose control. But before anything else happened, someone suddenly pushed Blake away from me.

That scent. It was familiar, so familiar. My heart raced as the rich, intoxicating smell of him filled my senses. It smelled like Kael. My mate.

I went closer to the figure who carried that scent and wrapped my arms around his neck, ignoring the shocked look on Blake’s face.

“Is it you, Kael?” I asked, my voice trembling with both disbelief and longing.

“Yes, Rebecca, it’s me,” he replied, and I immediately pressed my lips against his. I had missed the taste of him so much. The kiss was short yet full of hunger and frustration, every ounce of emotion pouring into that single moment. I could taste love, pain, and desire all at once.

“I love you,” I whispered suddenly.

“I love you too,” he said softly, and for a second, I waited for him to ask me why I left, but he didn’t.

“I know you had your reasons for leaving,” he said instead, his voice breaking slightly. “But I wish you stayed. I missed you so much.”

A tear rolled down his cheek, and I reached up to wipe it away with my thumb.

“I missed you too,” I said quietly.

He kissed me again, slower this time, his tongue sliding against mine with aching tenderness. After a few minutes, he pulled away, placing a soft peck on my lips.

“I have to go now,” he said, and my heart sank.

“Why do you have to leave?” I managed to say between sobs.

“I’ll be back, baby,” he promised, gently removing my hands from around his neck because I refused to let go. Then, in a blink of an eye, he was gone. The spot where he stood now felt painfully empty, and a sharp pang shot through my chest.

“Who was that?” Blake asked quietly behind me.

“Not your business,” I snapped, my voice harsh, something I’d never done to him before.

“Becky, please, who was that?” he asked again, more softly this time.

“I said it’s none of your business,” I repeated rudely. “Where are the rest?” I added, trying to change the subject.

“Probably making out somewhere,” Blake muttered, still calm despite my tone.

My vision blurred, and my steps became wobbly. I knew then the alcohol had finally hit me full force.

“Becky, Becky,” I heard Blake call, his voice faint as I began to lose consciousness. The last thing I saw was darkness swallowing me whole before everything faded away.

  • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   Interrupted

The moment Kael walked into Le Coeur de la Vie, the cozy café fell silent. All conversations trailed off, and lots of forks paused mid-bite. The rich aroma of fresh croissants and dark espresso was overpowered by the commanding scent of cedarwood and storm-rain that seemed to cling to Kael; the aura alone coming from him was commanding. He stood in the doorway, looking every inch the Alpha in his tailored charcoal three-piece suit. The kind of cloth that screamed power and wealth, the crisp black silk shirt beneath was open at the collar, revealing the strong, tanned line of his throat. The cufflinks glinted at his wrists, and his dark hair was styled backward and gave him that dangerous Alpha vibe. A sleek silver rate edition watch laid on his wrist, completing the picture of refined power.Cassidy's breath caught as she took in the sight of him. 'Gods above, he's incredible.' She thought. • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   A date

Kyle stood in front of the cracked full length mirror, adjusting his tie for what felt like the hundredth time. The navy blue suit was one of his finest, making him look sharp and kind of classic. And he sprayed the cheap perfume his sister had gifted him on his birthday. His sister, Lily, walked into the room, her eyes scanning him up and down before she scoffed like she'd just smelled something foul. She leaned on the doorframe with her arms crossed under her chest."What's with the get-up?" she asked, her tone dripping with disdain like honey off a bitter spoon.Kyle ignored her, focusing on putting on his watch. The one his dad had given him the Christmas before he passed away."I'm going out," he said, trying to sound casual like he did this every night.Lily raised an eyebrow, her expression saying, "You think?" "With Cassidy, I presume?"Kyle nodded, still fidgeting with his cufflinks. "Yeah. We're grabbing coffee."Lily snorted like a bull in a china shop. "Coffee? At Le Coeur

She didn't like her dad so well, because all he cared was wealth and power. The room was dimly lit, but bright enough to recognize someone, and go through files. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she approached her father's desk."What is it, Father?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, but it was loud enough for h in m to hear.Aldric's expression was like that of a storm cloud; dark and cold. "I want you to seduce Kyle and get information from him," he said, his words like a command not a request. His tone was c

Kael's blood boiled over as he beat up the werewolf, his fists connecting with his ribs and what could be heard was a crunch_the kind that meant something had broken. The sound of Kael's fist hitting his flesh echoed through the alleyway, and the werewolf's pained groans only fueled Kael's rage. Kael's nostrils flared as he breathed in. He turned to Kyle, his eyes squinting as he searched for any sign of recognition. "This scent... it's not Rebecca's." He wanted to ask but he just focused on what Kael was talking about.Kyle's brows furrowed in concentration as he sniffed the air, his eyes closed in focus.
