Chapter three.

"wow." A gasp escaped Luna's lips. Her eyes flipping through the page with each turn. The words caught in her mouth. "They are so...."

"Amazing right?" Salvador couldn't help but add.

"How did you? How did you make all these?" Her fingers runs on the surface of the note. Curving along the stream pattern of the map that spread across all corners of the white sheet.

There was more than a thousand words to describe it but she could only settle for one.

Damn.

"I travel a lot. Been a writer means the need of many inspirations." Salvador shrugged, silently cursing himself when Luna gave him a dumbfounded look.

Anytime he told people about his profession they'd always scowl at him. That type of shit is for the ladies, they'd say.

A light flashed in his face, drawing him back to reality.

He blinked his eyes repeatedly until they fall on Luna who was staring intently at her phone screen.

"Fuck..I don't have anything on me." Luna cursed under her breath.

With no other option, she trudge closer to Salvador, turning her back to him. "Sign."

"Hu–h." He merely asked out of confusion.

"I have nothing on me so sign on my shirt." Luna repeated.

Salvador did as she said, and only then did she return to her normal sitting position.

Smilling to herself, a thought float in her mind. She'd be one of the few to have gained his autograph when he finally becomes a best selling author.

Maybe among the first ten. That would be such an honour.

I mean look at those maps. They were look good to be true. She'd ask him for the links to his books, or maybe where she can get an hardcopy.

Reading has always been a side hobby of hers.

Reading, painting and dancing.

She found Salvador staring at her with a confuse expression, her cheeks heating up in embarrassment. "Sorry. It's actually my first time meeting a male author."

"Oh...h.." Salvador's lips broke into a broad smile. This mean she doesn't hates him for been an author, right?

Maybe Kyle was right? He needed to talk to people more. Them he can find a few who would actually like him for who he is.

"So you must be a literature student right?" Luna said, again flipping through the book Salvador had given her.

"Yes. You?"

"Medical student. Actually a surgeon. On the way to been a surgeon." Luna smile faded at the thought. "I was having some troubles with the cutting and all so Sandra decided I take a break."

It was more like a lot of troubles. If only her body and mind works at the same pace.

"Sandra?" Salvador asked curiously.

"My sister." Luna nodded.

"You don't look alike." He stated.

"They say that alot." Her eyes caught a quite complex map. She wasn't that good at reading maps but she could tell it was more of an action theme by the different territories marked out. "The maps are for your books right?"

"Hmm..." Salvador hummed.

"Then which book is this?" She turned over the book for him to see.

"Let me see." He adjusted the nerdy glass sitting on his nose, squinting his eyes at the note. "I think it's 'NEKON'S.' map."

"Nekon?" Luna leans to take a peak too.

The more weird the tittle us, the better. That she had learned after years of been a devoted reader.

"It's a supernatural novel of two worlds I planned out some months ago."

"Supernatural novel." Her ears perked up at the information.

It just had to be her favourite gerne.

"Is it out yet?"

"Huh–yes."

"Can I get a link, or maybe a website I can get a hard copy." Her eyes brighten up like an adorable puppy. Infecting Salvador with a grin.

"Barbeque is ready." Jeff yelled crazily.

"At last." Luna jumped up, the earlier conversation taking a pause in her brain.

Dusting the shore sand off her pants. She raised a brow when Salvador doesn't moves. "Barbeque–?"

"Am okay–"

"Who says no to barbeque?" Luna took his hand, pulling him up then dragged him to the barbeque stand.

"Yolo." She swiftly made her way to the front, never loosing her grip on Salvador.

"God. How hungry are you?" Nash chuckled, the desperate expression on Luna's face was more than visible.

"I didn't eat breakfast." She pouted in respond.

"Here you go miss." He handed her a plate.

"It's a plate for two." She looked over to Salvador who is still in her grasp.

"Oh–hey dor." He sent a smile at the nervous looking Salvador.

"He–y Nash."

"For two." Nash passed the plate back to Jeff who is in charge of the servings.

"You are going to eat it all by yourself?" Jeff turned to Luna, mouth slightly parted in shock.

"No....man.." Luna irked. "It's me and Salvador."

"Oh..." Jeff nodded.

"But I ain't complaining if you decide to add one more mouth for me." Luna shrugged innocently.

Eating has never been a problem for her.

Someone snacked the back of her head, forcing her to turn around. "What have I told you about eating too much?"

She stared at her scary looking sister, swallowing an audible gulp. "I was just saying."

"Don't even think of giving her too much." She glares at both Jeff and Nash.

"See how fat she is already." All eyes moved over to Luna who rolled her eyes in return.

"She looks pretty normal to me." Nash shrugged.

"I can't agree more." Jeff added.

Sandra stared at the guy dumbfounded, forgetting about her previous trouble when her eyes fell on Luna's hand.

"Salvador." Her eyes widen as she stare at the gemstone green eyed, blond.

Just like the first time she saw him. Very cute.

"You two meet already?" She had seen them talking together on the beach. But was bad in asking.

This was her chance to play Caspian. The god of love. No she'd be the goddess.

With one look Luna saw through her hard skull, and the wheels turning in her head. Sandra would never miss a second to want to pair her with anybody she comes in contact with.

And that was the last thing she wants right now.

"Thanks alot Nash." She grabbed her breakfast/lunch from Nash, dragging Salvador away before the goddess of love ruin her life.

"What about me?" Jeff yells in a hurt tone.

"A lot of thanks to you too Jeff." She threw the words behind her.

She managed to find a comfortable place to sit and eat. A place where Sandra wouldn't easily fine.

She breaths out a breath of relief, and so did Salvador.

He wasn't fond of been with so much people. Worst, conversing.

Luna looks back at Salvador, whose ears was still blood red from nervousness. "Sorry. She is just so– hu–h."

"It's not her fault. Am not good with the whole socializing thing in the first place." He admitted.

Apart from his little sister and his parents he hardly talks to any one outside his family apart from his best friend kyle and sometimes his old literature teacher. And now maybe Luna.

He doesn't feels that uncomfortable around her.

"I don't make you uncomfortable, do I?" Luna asked.

"No–o.." He shook his head until they both hear a crack.

Luna was the only friend he had made..if she leaves he'd be friendless.

"Jesus Salv....you might hurt you neck." Luna scolded. Placing both hand on his cheeks to hold his head in place.

Soft. His cheeks were out of ordinarily soft.

She wrapped two fingers around a piece, pinching it out.

He is so cute.

"Hu–rgh." Salvador groaned then slapped her hands away.

"Sorry....I couldn't help it." Luna smiled apologicaly. "You are just so cute. How old are you anyway?"

He rubbed on his cheeks sending her a glare, looking cute at the same time. "Am not cute, men aren't cute. And an 23."

23. Luna eyelid twitched uncontrollablyat his words. He is one year older than her.

Then why does he looks eighteen?

No offense, he isn't scrawny or anything. He had that perfectly fit big body, but with that big hoodie and glasses.. definitely cute.

"For real. You are twenty three?" Salvador squirmed under her gaze. "You are lying aren't you?"

"What's the point in lying?" Salvador raised a brow. "Now are we eating or not?"

With the sight of such tempting food in front of him, he was beginning to feel hungry.

She cracked a smile, passing him a fork. "Let's dig in."
