CHAPTER 2

Luna walked towards the current Luna and glanced down at her. Her eyes were closed, her body was pale and she was barely breathing. Luna was nervous, she hadn't tried to heal someone who was poisoned before. The only person she had healed was Adrian and it wasn't from poison.

She rolled her hand around Luna's chest. Golden lights emitted from her hand and she placed her hand on Luna's forehead. The blue lights went through Luna and moved inside her. Luna waited and a few minutes later, Luna's eyes flung open. The pack doctor that was watching Luna eyes grew wide with amusement.

Adrian and Dean hurried over to her as soon as her eyes opened. Luna made her way towards the door, her job was done and she needed to go home. She wanted to see her father, she wanted to talk to him and feel his hug. It had been a month since she saw him.

"Luna, Luna." The pack doctor called after her and hurried towards her.

Luna stopped and glanced over her shoulder. "Yes?"

"Would you love to work with me and become the next pack doctor?"

She shook her head. "No."

With that she walked out of the building and walked home, she had not asked about the rules Dean said that she was going to live with. On getting home, she knocked on the door and waited for the door to open. She wondered if her father was expecting her.

"Just a minute." Her father called from inside.

The door opened revealing her father, her father was putting on a long trouser with his favorite long jacket. He wasn't wearing a shirt and his hair was poking out, like usual.

"Father…"

Her father's eyes widened as he found her standing there. She gave him a warm smile.

"Luna." He pulled her into a bear hug. "My baby lost a lot of weight, I have missed you so much. How have you been? I didn't know you were getting released today."

"So did I?" Luna choked out, the hug was so tight that she couldn't breathe properly. "I can't breathe."

"Sorry." Her father muttered, pulling away from the hug. "Come inside, I have a lot to talk about, first you have to have a bath and get changed. I will make food for you."

It was then Luna realized how much she had missed her father and his cooking. She had always been watching him while he cooked and hadn't tried to cook for herself. He was always there and always taking care of her. She missed their discussions and arguments and she missed it a lot.

He opened the door for her and waited of the to step in, she was greeted by the smell of marshmallows and the smell of fresh daisy hit her nose. She smiled as she surveyed the living room, everything was still in place. She walked over to the kitchen and looked around, it was still the same

"Nothing changed." Luna muttered.

"Yes." Her father replied. "Nothing could change."

She turned around to meet his gaze. "Have you seen Ashford?"

"Yes, he is upstairs, I don't know what he is doing there but he just went up."

"I will change now."

Before her father could reply, she sprinted towards the stairs and hurried to her room. She wondered if he was waiting for her there, she had a lot to say to him and she knew he was going to be ready to listen to her rant. Doing the month she stayed in the dungeon, she had thought a lot about many things.

Soon she was standing in front of her door, placing her hand on the door knob. She turned it and pushed the door open.

"Ashford…"

Her words cut short in her throat when she saw him, he was holding out some clothes from the wardrobe and checking them out. He was stark naked and his buttocks were facing her, her cheeks grew red as he turned his head to look at her. His eyes widened and they stared at each other awkwardly, Luna suddenly regained herself and looked away from him.

"I just came back and wanted to find you. What…are you doing in my room when you know I will be back?"

"I didn't know you would be back so soon…" He wanted to continue speaking when she bolted for the door and slammed it as hard as she could.

When Ashford came out of the room, Luna blushed in embarrassment. He was putting on an outfit now and she wondered why he had taken a bath in her room. Hadn't he bathed before he came, he wanted to look nice. She raised her head or looked at him and he was staring down at her. She threw herself into his arms, her hand wrapped around him pulling him into a tight hug. She had missed him and it was all thanks to him that she got out of the dungeon. She has no idea how he managed to pull it off. His hand slowly wrapped around her.

"I missed you kitten." He mumbled, slowly pulling away from the hug.

"I missed you too," Luna murmured, her voice softening. "I am glad you helped me get out"

"It's not a big deal."

The few buttons of the shirt he was wearing were opened and that made her brows furrow.

"How many times do you want me to tell you that you should button up all your buttons?" She asked him.

Ashford grinned from ear to ear, he couldn't believe she was still acting possessive when there was no girl in the building.

"You are the only one here, there is no need for me to do that," Ashford replied, grinning mischievously.

She bit her lips. "I will have my bath now, you can wait for me downstairs."

She entered the room and peeked through the door until he was out of sight. Luna let out a sigh of relief, However when she remembered what happened when she had entered the room. Her face turned red like a tomato.
