Cameron didn't feel like going to Osbourne's castle. He thought Kanyon was too lenient in offering forgiveness. A century ago, Osbourne themed up with his brother and tried to have the King overthrown. He wanted to be the king himself. But they were tried for treason where his brother was locked up for eternity, and he was exiled to this place.

‘Are you sure about this, your majesty?’ Cameron asked through the link as the guards guided them inside the castle.

‘Yes. We won't stay long. I'm going to get his signature on these documents, and then we'll make our way back to the Warmblood pack. Alpha Daniel says Jessica is doing well.’

‘Great and have you talked to Anna?’ Cameron wanted to know. The king shrugged. ‘Come on, man, she's carrying your pup. I know you smelt the truth on her.’

‘I tried to block that out, but I guess I'll have to face it head-on. I can't shake off the image of Jessica's reaction when Anna said she was having my child.’
