CHAPTER 31: INTERROGATION

“Ms. Stone, where were you between 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday?” asked the inspector as he interrogated me. I was not nervous at all, even though this was the first time that I was in such a situation, I guess that I wasn’t nervous because I was not the only one who was here to be interrogated today. Everyone who worked and lived at the La’Vardo estate or even just had contact with Emma was here to be interrogated, including Xander even though he is the one who wanted it this way. Unfortunately, I was the first one, who was sitting on the ‘hot seat’. “I was at home inspector, at the estate” I answered his question. “Do you have any sources to confirm this?” he asked. “Yes, everyone and anyone from the mansion” I answered his question that sounded ridiculous. “Okay.
