Back From The Dead

Chapter Forty-four.

Diana's pov

My eyes flew open and I bolted upright in the bed and sucked in a deep breath. I glanced around wondering what happened, why I was back here. The panic began to set in, I could feel a sting in the corner of my eye, why was I back here? The only question that ran through my mind.

"I was supposed to be dead, I was supposed to be dead. I am dead, I am dead," I continued to chant in my head but deep down I knew it wasn't true. I was back into this world, the realization hit me and the first tear slid down my face.

“Oh my God!” someone exclaimed beside me. I glanced at the nurse and she seemed to look like she had seen a ghost and then her eyes disappeared behind to the back of her head, she plummeted to the floor.

I didn't worry about her and wondered if this was real. I had to pinch myself to be sure and sure enough it hurt, how was this possible? I was only surrounded by the light for just a second, why was I back here?

This couldn't be happening?
