NO ESCAPE May 20, 2021 MADDY 1 AM The minute his face became more visible in my vision, I was engulfed by a cold wave. He has a big, malicious grin engraved on his lips that makes my skin crawl with contempt. LOSS OF HOPE May 20, 2021 MADDY 3 AM Too much chill in my body jolted me awake. It astounds me how Santi's hell can still send a raw chill down my spine despite his cruelty. REVELATION May 20, 2021 MADDY When Julius said that, I almost bit my tongue. Instead of answering any of my questions, he suddenly stood up and headed into the kitchen sink, as if he were trying to get away from me. She used to tell me stories about this place, how it's not simply full of grotesque creatures.
