SKYLER'S POV With having the twins, I didn't get to spend more than one night with Elijah when we first mated and then, with the resurfacing of one of my bad memories, I only got to spend one night with Nathan as well. COLE'S POV I got back from King Noah's territory a few moments ago and heard the pups outside playing. I walked out the kitchen door and smile at what I see. I then sit down on the porch and watch as Skyler plays with Samuel, Emma, Marcus and Claire. COLE'S POV I hit the counter with my fist, Xander stepping up next to me as the anger and rage take more of an effect and we snap. "I CAN'T BE HERE... I CAN'T BE THIS CLOSE AND NOT TOUCH HER... SKYLER'S POV It's been a week since Harper put the dampener on my fear of that night with Cole and everything has more or less returned to normal the only thing is that it didn't quite work how we wanted it to as yes the fear was reduced but even the thought of being alone with him raises that fear. I actually haven't seen him for a few days. I am heading to the office to see if Elijah or Nathan knows where he is. Once outside the office, I knock on the door and open it slightly. SKYLER'S POV After my session with Greta and finding out that Alexander and her, are now expecting their first pup. I think back on Samuel and Emma, Marcus and Claire and then the twins I just lost and the joy we all felt at adding to our family, but that memory is now tinged with sadness. So even as the sadness plagues me, not only from losing the twins but as a side effect of the distance I have once again put between me and Cole, I dance around the kitchen as I make lunch and decide on what I will do for dinner.
