CHAPTER 18 - The Luna Ceremony!
SKYLER'S POV
After the doc had looked me over and gave the all-clear, without telling Elijah and Nathan about the pup at my request. I was sent to bed to get rest. I was so exhausted that as soon as my head hit the pillows, I was taken by the darkness of sleep.The next morning I wake with a start, sit up and look around the room. There was no one there, but I knew someone had been in here, as I was no longer in my old top and pants. He still scares me, but I get a hint of chocolate and rain, Cole's intoxicating scent. I sigh and turn to Alice,"Alice, he was here!"
"I know, he gave us the touch we have been craving since that night. I feel much better..."
"But he could have?"
"Yes, he could have, but he didn't. But then, would you have actually stopped him if he had woken you up with a kiss and love?"

SKYLER'S POV The twins, Samuel and Emma, are now 6 months old. We still haven't heard a single thing from Cole, so I'm not sure if he even knows about them yet. Elijah and Nathan have been the best. One of them is still always with me, but they absolutely love playing and spending time with both Samuel and Emma. ALPHA DAVID JACKSON'S POV I stand in the kitchen doorway and watch as Skyler makes her way around the kitchen. It's like she had never left, except she now fights back more. NATHAN'S POV I have been away from the pack, Skyler and the twins, for over a month and we still are no closer to finding out which pack is attacking without cause. They hit fast, hard and silently. We can't work out if they are working with rogues or if they put a spy into each pack before they attack and we can't seem to pick which pack they are going to be hitting next. COLE'S POV I return to the packhouse 2 weeks after Skyler gave birth to the pup she was carrying. I climb into her window and have the shower I always have before I see her. I stay in the shadows as she enters the room. I watch as she enters the bathroom. She stays in there for a while and then comes out already wearing her night slip. She finishes drying her hair and sits at her vanity. She looks tired as she braids her hair. I catch a glimpse of my mark on her shoulder as she throws the finished braid over her shoulder.
