"Brandon, whenever you see me either in school or outside school, let's act like strangers, I have never met you, you have never known or spoken to me and ignore me as plain air, I will do the same, that includes you Camilla" a burst of gun powder was filled in the air and Camilla raised her voice by few decibels"you stinky girl how dare you! Camilla was so angry that she felt like her heart was on  fire. She strode towards fortune like a cannon ball and Asia who had been watching the drama rushed over cause she knew what Camilla was going to do but it was too late, Camilla raised her hand and slapped fortune which caught her off guard. She didn't expect Camilla to hit her and it happened so fast, she mastered up her courage and retaliated by slapping Camilla with all the strength that she had. "I don't take such embarrassments lightly from strangers . Asia we have over stayed our welcome here come on let's go". Brandon was so shocked by this side of fortune that he had never seen before, her momentum, oh no temperament was so unique, she was like a different person.

Asia and fortune got a cab and returned to their apartment. "fortune please don't feel depressed over a guy who can't keep his zip closed, he will probably regret ever doing this to you". Fortune chuckled, "Asia  this is not a Hollywood or Nollywood movie,in this reality we are living in, just because Brandon disappointed me, it doesn't mean that he will be miserable, it doesn't work that way. on the contrary, you might find that his enjoying himself and so carefree. It is not a guarantee that he will be miserable or will suffer just because of this mistake, anything is possible so please just forget it, I am fine.

fortune thought to herself, it means I have been  ignoramus all this while, thinking I had  the best boyfriend, fortune sighed deeply, I guess relationships are just too difficult. She lost her appetite and didn't feel like eating, deep down, she was hurt. it was obvious that both of them had started seeing each other for some time, who knows when it all started. Fortune felt relieved, it's good that she decided to end things with him. She needed to be Aloof towards them, she knew her cousin was apathetic but she didn't know as to what extent it had gotten to and Brandon that hedonistic person, if only I knew earlier, I wouldn't have wasted almost a year on him."fortune come on, you don't have to starve yourself over that imbecile of a guy and your abrasive cousin. they are not worth it".
