Chapter 6

As soon as fortune walked in, she saw Asia intensely concentrating on her book like she was trying to get something out. "Asia what are you reading?" fortune asked with a little curiosity. Asia jumped up like a child who was caught doing something wrong and quickly hid the book."fortune you are back, actually an announcement was made saying classes will have reshuffles". Fortune looked at her friend with suspicion "tell me, what were you reading just now?". Asia felt she couldn't hide it from this girl so she pulled the the book and showed it to her friend "HOW TO MAKE A MAN WANT YOU" fortune couldn't hold back and started laughing at this crazy friend. "Asia listen to me, you don't have to change yourself because you want a man, you are perfect the way you are and if a guy must like you, he must like you for who you are, for the real Asia". oh no Asia pouted her lips  "fortune it's easy for you to attract guys cause you are a beauty". " you are a beauty as well, why must you have such little confidence in yourself? just give it time don't rush into anything". 

At this time, one of the school administrators came in. " Afternoon, I'm sure you all have heard about the reshuffles which were suppose to have been done tomorrow but to avoid any inconveniences in your learning schedule, we will have to do it today then afterwards you can call it a day and come back tomorrow morning to resume your normal learning schedule". The administrator started to call out the names of the people who would leave for another class and Brandon's name was on the list. The students in question quickly packed their books and went out. Brandon paused near Fortune's seat and said " I will be seeing you during lunch break" she nodded and he walked out. This afternoon, due to the reshuffles, students had to leave early cause the lessons they ought to have were cancelled. Fortune and her friend walked back to their apartment. on their way back, Asia decided to buy some food staff saying she wanted to prepare a Bolognese so fortune helped her out.    As soon as the two girls got to their small apartment, Asia started to prepare food while fortune kept herself busy with her books. Time flew by quickly and soon it was dinner time. fortune was eager to taste the food prepared by her friend. They both enjoyed their meal. While on the other side, at this time, right opposite a bistro was a club which was almost two kilometers away from the school. Camilla and her friend Ariana were having the time of their lives, drinking and dancing. Brandon sat in a corner near by and at a glance, he recognized Camilla, she was the same girl who spoke rudely to fortune the other day. He stared at her again and had to accept that she had a nice figure and wasn't bad. Thinking about it, despite Camilla having a better figure, he would still choose fortune cause she was at least well-mannered compared to the girl in front of him twisting her waist, she looked like a contumacious girl with a hint of unruliness in her character. Anyways, he was looking forward to being with fortune, especially for the fact that he would get a chance to get intimate with her,well of course he did like her despite having all these thoughts. He was a man after all and needed to be active so it was normal to think this way. "hey handsome have I seen you somewhere?" Camilla asked in a seductive tone. Brandon who was  immersed in his own thoughts was thunderstruck by the person in front of him. He looked at her and didn't know what to say. He had to admit that the girls charm had an effect on him so he abruptly stood up and left. 

No, I can't let my desires over crowd me like this. soon I will be with fortune and all these desires will be fulfilled and i will be satisfied so I better hold on and be patient. yes, yes I have to wait. Brandon said this to himself. He got into his car and drove out. Early the next day, lessons commenced and everything went on in a normal way despite the reshuffles. Soon it was time for the students to have their lunch break and everyone busied themselves out. Asia and fortune walked towards a nearby restaurant and had their lunch as soon as they walked out, they saw Camilla who looked a little disorderly. fortune inadvertently paused just to say hello to her cousin but surprisingly, Camilla brushed passed  fortune and ignored her like she was plain air. fortune and Asia were taken aback by her actions and looked at each other with questioning eyes. "fortune your cousin is always looking for trouble each time she sees you but what happened to her today?" Asia asked. Fortune looked at Camilla who had walked further from them and was at a loss for words. They ignored all this and continued to walk  towards their class. a few meters away, they heard someone call out "fortune". both Asia and fortune abruptly looked back and saw Brandon who looked like he had been chasing after them from a distance. They both looked at the guy who was panting and trying to catch his breath. "f-fortune  h-how are you?" Brandon stammered Abit as he was trying to catch his breath."Brandon was someone chasing you? why were you running?" fortune asked. "well I saw you from a distance and the only way I could  catch up to you was to run".
