Jace's POV.

“So, I got a message from eldest uncle in New York and he said his son, Lark to be precised has shown interest in joining the pack warriors.”

Peter muttered before sipping the liquor he was holding.

“And why now?”

I furrowed my eyebrows as I glared at him.

“Don't tell me you have been speaking with Lark all these while and don't even tell me you are behind uncle's acceptance of Lark returning to the pack?”

I growled as I got up from where I was seated.

“C’mon, Jace if you are forgetting something here I will be reminding you that Lark, he is also and always be a member of this pack and also a royalty!”

Peter snarled as he held the glass cup firmly.

“Part of the pack? Huh?”

“I can accept that but being part of the family? Hell no! That is bullsh*t.”

I cursed as I pointed my right index finger at him.

“And why is that? Huh? You tell me when you get to decide who is family and who isn't.”

He growled angrily as he looked right into my eyes.

I could see the rage that slowly
