Chapter 3: Desperation

Sofia's POV

In the next morning, I went to school alone again as usual. The day won't end if no one can bully me, and I just ignored everything because if I'm going to mind it, everything will get worsen. Class ended so early, and I have time to prepare our foods tonight.

Damon, is not on his office in school and I heard that today is a full moon. Human beings, prohibited to roamed outside because it's the wolves night. I'm convinced that Damon won't stay in the house tonight, but I'm still preparing him food in case he went home.

I was surprised when I reached home, I found Drake sitting on the couch and is waiting for my arrival. He sat down well upon seeing me.

“What took you so long?” He asked me and I bend down my head to hide my face from him.

“I just finish my activity in school, Drake. Do you want something to eat?” I asked at him, and Drake stared at me for a while before he responded to me.

“Bake me a cake.” He said and which made me to bite my bottom lips. I remember the last time when Olivia throws the cake I make for him, and also I remember he told me that he didn't want my cake. Looked at him now, he's asking me to bake him a cake, and it's making my heart to melt out of happiness.

“Do you have anything to request aside from that, Drake?” I asked and which made his brows furrowed.

“Just prepared my clothes. Tonight is a hunting night for wolves. Don't go out if you didn't want your life to be in danger.” He reminds me and I nodded my head responding to him. Drake, acting weird tonight. He didn't bring his mistress here, and this is new.

I watched him walked out of the house before I started to prepared all the ingredients for the cake that I'm going to make for him. It took for about half an hour when I finish preparing it. That's when I decided to go to his room to get him clothes. It's almost eight in the evening and I could hear loud howls of wolves outside which means, they began their hunting night.

I waited for Drake on the couch, but it's almost in the middle of the night, but he didn't come back yet. So, I have decided to stepped out of the house and tries to wander my eyes to the surroundings, hoping to find Drake, but I can't find him.

The moment that I was about to go back inside when someone grabbed my hand, and then my eyes widen when I saw Drake's entire face. Sweat rolling down from his face, while there are also bruises on his face. It seems like, he was in a battle.

“Sofia,” he called my name and which made my heart to flattered in happiness. “Kiss me.” He commanded, which made my mouth to agape. Before I could react, Damon already grabbed my head, and then he took my lips without my permission. My head telling me to push him away, but my heart telling me to answer his kiss.

Damn.

This is my first kiss. Drake never kissed me before and this was the first time which he kissed me. The next moment, I found myself responding to his addictive kiss. I wrapped my hand on his neck while following Drake's kiss. I also realized that I'm letting this cold-hearted Alpha to stole my first kiss.

Damon, insist on ending the kiss and I could feel my face flush because of what he did towards me. Damon stared at me like there is nothing happened at all.

“See? I couldn't feel excitement from kissing you.” He muttered towards me, which made me bite my bottom lips. Damon's words is like a knife which stabbed my heart countless times in pain.

“Drake…” I couldn't react from his words. My heart still aching in pain because of the words he let out towards me.

“Stop loving me, Sofia. Stop taming me because you can't tame my heart, and I keep reminding you that.” Drake muttered towards me.

“You can't dictate my heart, Drake. Even if you pushed me away, still my heart screaming your name. Just let me prove to you that I can succeed with my plans. Don't push me away because I have nowhere to go and whatever you do, we are still married.” I replied to him and which made Drake to grasped my wrist.

“Can't you understand it, Sofia? I'm not freaking concerned about love. I hate love, and you are just hurting yourself because whatever you do, you can't tame my cold heart.” He said towards me which triggered my tears to fall down from my eyes.

“I don't care about it, Drake. It doesn't matter because I'm willing to wait for the time for your heart to beats for me.” Drake shake his head at me.

“You're desperate, Sofia.” He said towards me.

“I don't care if you called me desperate, Drake. What matter for me is that, I'm doing this for you. This desperation I'm doing now is because of the love I have towards you.” He shook his head again towards me because of the words I let out.

“You are just wasting your time towards me, Tracy.” Drake muttered and then he left me alone. I was still standing in my direction while tears keep falling down from my eyes.

“I'm not wasting my time, Drake and perhaps, I'm spending this to tell you how much I love you.” A deep sigh escape from my mouth after I muttered those words towards him. Even though, I'm in the stage of giving up, but I encourage myself that time will come, I will succeed with my plan.

This is not the end yet and if I failed in my first plan, there will be another plan until I am still breathing. Giving up is not my motto.

I will try and try until I succeed. One day, my plans of taming the cold-hearted Alpha would succeed, and I would be the happiest person on earth if that happens.

“Go on, Sofia. You will never succeed with your plans.” He muttered, and my heart shattered in pain again because of the words he said towards.
