Chapter 29

Ralph’s POV

I woke up to see Lovette cuddled beside me. I smiled at her small figure on the bed. She looked so peaceful in her sleep, her chest rising and falling with each breath. I couldn’t help but smile as I looked at her, I slipped out of bed and tiptoed out of the room, not wanting to wake her up.

I then went to the kitchen to make breakfast for her. I decided to make pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup. After breakfast was ready, I went back to the bedroom and sat on the bed beside Lovette. I leaned in and whispered her name softly, “Lovette.” She stirred and opened her eyes, smiling up at me.

“Good morning,” I said, holding her hands. “I made you breakfast.”

She sat up and looked at the tray of pancakes on the bedside table. “Wow, thank you,” she said, her eyes lighting up.

She couldn’t stop blushing as she looked at the food. “It looks delicious,” she said. “But I don’t want to eat it alone. Will you join me?”

I smiled and replied, “Of course, I would love to join you.
