Chapter 16: Target

When I saw him, I froze in my seat and whispered his name to myself. I saw Seth cast simple glances at me from the corner of my eyes, and I don't know if he heard it, but I didn't care.

My gaze is fixed on the man in front of me. Back ten years, I cried out for help to this man. He didn't help us and just turned a blind eye and a deaf ear.

He ignored our cries for help and simply stood there watching us before leaving.

His appearance had changed dramatically between the first and last time I saw him, but the tattoo in his face and the scar on his forehead were the only things that I cannot forget.

Something that will live on in my memory for the rest of my life. He was there when we were abducted, but he just stood there and watched us be taken by those bastards, and now he's sitting in front of me as if nothing happened ten years ago.

I'm not sure if he remembers me or Luzy or even Win-win or the incident,
