I woke up the next morning with a slight headache, but when I pulled the covers away from my naked body and saw the fingerprints on my hips, I knew last night had been real.

“Fuck,” I muttered, realizing what this meant. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!” I chanted. My wedding was six months away and I had just slept with another man. It didn’t matter that he was my ex. It didn’t matter that we didn’t get closure yet. I was engaged to someone else and I was meant to be faithful. Fuck!

I stood up, wincing at the slight soreness between my legs. That damned man hadn’t cared to hold back. He knew I was engaged. He came to congratulate me on my engagement. He knew exactly what the fuck he was doing.
