Chapter 20

I rolled over in bed as I moaned silently while hugging the pillow on my face. My eyes were still closed yet I managed to smile, remembering my dream. My good, sweet dream was somehow blurry but I could remember dating a hot, topless guy. It was actually resembling Fenris' body.

I gasped, feeling myself finally fully recharged; at last, I think I completed eight hours of sleep. I opened my eyes, welcoming the bright sunlight on my face through the window. I let my yawn fill the room.

I sat on the bed, stretching my arms. I could feel like the day was gonna be a great day. I was about to stand with my feet landed on the floor when I froze as my eyes caught Fenris standing in the corner of my room with his back on the wall and his hands in his pockets.

"Goodness!" I puffed a breath, calming my shocked chest. "How long have you been standing there?" I asked.

He remained quiet as his eyes looked down on my thigh part. I then realized I wasn't wearing any shorts, only panties.
