Chapter 21

"I have no idea." My feet were still trembling as I tried to find an answer but I couldn't. All I knew was he stopped moving and that was it.

He walked back towards me with glaring eyes he almost imprisoned my shoulders again but I bowed my head to avoid his huge hands then I moved my back away from the wall 'till I was already standing behind him.

He turned his gaze at me with brows crossed. "Now you're trying to impress me," he said sarcastically.

"I'm not, but I'm glad you're impressed." I puffed a breath, finally gathering my power to speak back.

"Barely." He rolled his eyes.

I rolled mine too. "Why are you acting strange anyway? I mean clearly, you almost killed me with your hands."

"Why do you think huh? Clearly, you're not learning your lessons; always late, always irresponsible, always nosy around--- stubborn," he groaned. "You need to know when to act like a child and when to act like a Goddamn responsible werewolf!" His fingers stroke his messy hair. "You're gonna die early
