Kayden’s pov

“ Alpha, you need to come see this!” A wolf from my Pack yelled out again as Melanie and I rushed outside.

The call was too alarming, causing my mind to drift from sceneries to sceneries.

We both made our way to the big square building in the middle of the arena and I could see people gathering around to take a peek of something I couldn’t see.

When they saw me coming, they parted and made way for me to see the reason for the gathering. I walked abruptly till my feet stopped on the source of attraction.

I could hear murmurs and crying around but my gaze was focused on what was in front

A dead wolf. From my pack.

“ Alpha, we saw him dead already when we went for change of patrol. He must have been out a long time ago.” I heard someone speak from the background but I could focus my attention on him as my eyes pierced through the visible heart of the dead wolf. I was pissed and who does this knows well how to piss an Alpha.

His body was fully cut in details. His heart was ripped off and his ball socket was bulging out, his skin was peeled and his tongue was cut with some of his tooth pulled off.

They killed him in his wolf form.

Who dare do this to my clan, to my pack!

“ Alpha, we saw this wrapped around him.” I was handed a little cloth with bloody writings on it.

‘ It will rain blood’ It reads.

I could hear piercing murmurs from around me.

“ What does it says Alpha?” I heard Melanie’s impatient voice asks with eagerness. Everyone was waiting to hear the meaning of the word on the cloth but I ignored them.

“ What does it says?”

I ignored again but squatted to take a swipe of blood from the deceased, “ Who is his family?” I asked calmly.

A set of people burst into tears and started screaming his name. A great way to identify themselves.

“ He was one of our best, so let it be known this day that the death of our beloved shall not go unnoticed. We shall find and hurt the killers of our loved one and,”I looked towards Melanie to draw a sense of peace from her, “ We will take them down.”

“ It is going to be a wolf for a wolf.”

“We shall have for him a befitting burial.” I swiped my fingers through his bulging eyeball to close whatever was left of it.

“Gather your loved ones and let us bury the dead.”

**************************************

“ What did the writing say?” Melanie asked again as soon as we got to my bedroom. I had the men take care of the body as the family payed last homage to him.

She was persistent, “ Alpha, you are not talking to me, Who did this? The rogues? The splitters? Who?”

I dragged my tired hands to my forehead to somehow soothe the troubling headache arising, “ The rogues knows how to play their game well, but this is not one of theirs. The splitters won’t dare come close to my territory, they are too foolish to do that.”

I sat on the bed and I felt Melanie behind me as spoke with so much uncertainty. “ Then who? Who would want so much of your attention as to butcher a wolf in that manner?”

I glare at her with so much coldness that could freeze the full Atlantic Ocean as I said the one word that has been bothering my heart for some time.

“My mate.”

Imani's POVI hate him.I hate him a lot."Ugh! I hate him already!" I screamed once more, for what felt like the hundredth time today. If I were to receive a free wolf for every time I cursed that certain grumpy ingrate, my pack would undoubtedly be the most powerful in the land."Imani, you should get a hold of yourself. Take your mind off him; he might not even remember you a few days from now," Greta said soothingly as she moved to my side and handed me a concoction. Yes, I had fallen on my way back from wherever I had been wandering in my angry thoughts.Greta was a very close friend of mine, practically a sister. We were seated in the throne room—well, I wouldn't exactly call it a throne room, but it was the place where I was ordained as the Alpha's successor, so it felt like one."I just hate the fact that the Moon Goddess decided to be unfair to me this time. Seriously?" I strained my head upward, as though I could see the celestial deity from where I sat. "Why him?"Greta sig

  • The Alpha And I Made A Deal   Find Her

Kayden's POV"My mate," I repeated, the words heavy on my tongue , and the way she had left our pack, vowing never to return, left me in a whirlwind of emotions. I couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss.I turned my gaze to Melanie, who had moved to sit beside me. Her expression was a mix of concern and curiosity. "What do you mean by that? You just met her yesterday, and she's fighting you today?"I sighed, trying to find the right words to express the confusion and turmoil in my heart. "With the tone she spoke, she was ready for war. It's as if there's a storm brewing inside her that I can't comprehend."Melanie, had seen him through many challenges, but this situation was different. Her concern for the pack's safety was palpable, and she knew the importance of unity and strength in times of conflict. My wolf's growls echoed in my mind, a constant reminder of the bond we had with this mysterious woman.Melanie let out an exasperated sigh, her frustration palpable. "You a

KAYDEN’S POV**************************“ So, what are we going to do?” Melanie asked with the most seriousness in her tone.“ I don’t know Mel, I still need to think.” I rubbed my jaw and moved further away to seat on the chair by the corner of the room.My gaze shattered towards the window to view the appearance from the moon. The full moon pack is not one to mess with. The pack building was the most enormous building in loveltona. It was buried deep in the forest at the heart of the town, far from the prying eyes of any visitors that actually managed to stumble off the freeway and into the unfriendly little hamlet. The floor pan of the building was shaped like an enormous U with sharp corners, with two of the building facing north to south and one on the end, facing east to west, with a large courtyard that was opened on one side, that was the place I met with her, my mate. The outside of the building was half timbered, with dark brown beams that looks nearly black against the ivor

  • The Alpha And I Made A Deal   What the fuck!

Imani’s pov“ what the fuck, mani? You gave up the offer!?” I had just gotten home when I got attacked with questions from my beta.“ It’s for the best. They had nothing to offer, they can’t help us.” I shrugged, that is all she should know.“ Come on Imani, we’ve been waiting for this offer for months. You assured us they would be a way—““ I still do!” I blurted as she rolled her eyes, “ there is a way, we haven’t just figured it yet.”“ Figured? We waited three months to get a reply from them. Do you think we should wait another? The pack is still mourning, we are still at lost. We all kept our hope on the full moon pack so what do you have us do now?” I rolled my eyes at this, it’s not like I didn’t know about them. “ We will figure it out, just like always—““ The fuck Imani? Do you think this is a freaking game ?” I banged the chair angrily, “ You should watch your tongue when talking to me. I could have your head off and fed to those fucking rogues out there. Do you think t

She’s making me pissed!’ I am trying to help her here. ‘I think you should calm down.’ Xane wasn’t taking it.“ You know what?! I don’t like you. I don’t at all! You are just too….” I could barely finish my sentence when she cut me.“ self centered? Foolish? Stupid? Yeah. It smells in you. You reek of it…” I heard her say something else under else under her breath but I didn’t get it.“ I don’t even want you..”“ And you are not getting me…….”“ I’d be damed to take you as my mate….”“ I’d rather loose my wolf than have you.” Her eyes were spitting fire by this time.
