LOGINWhen Amara moves in with her powerful new stepbrothers and into a pack that sees her as nothing more than a burden, her quiet world shatters. Bullied, belittled, and branded as the omega without a wolf, she’s pushed to the edge alone and unwanted. But secrets have a way of surfacing. Her stepbrothers cold, dominant, and destined for greatness try to ignore the pull she stirs in them. They’re forbidden to want her. She's forbidden to want them. Yet the more they try to keep their distance, the harder it becomes to resist. As tensions ignite and desire burns beneath the surface, the line between hate and need begins to blur. Amara isn’t just some weak little omega… and the girl they once dismissed might be the one thing they can’t live without. Bound by blood. Tempted by fate. Will they survive the fire they’ve started—or be consumed by it?

“I’m coming mom.” I whispered as I pulled my luggage to the door and stood next to my mother. “Remember, your new family is very important. Your stepfather, Alpha Lucas values family very much and also one of your three step brothers will be the future Alpha of this pack. You have to be on your best behavior.” My mom’s words were sharp, cutting like a knife. “I know mom.” “He didn’t have to take you in considering your situation….” She added and l flinched. Why did she have to bring that up? I know I didn’t have a wolf and I was just an omega but I still have feelings. “I know mom. I’ll be on my best behavior.” It’s not like I had a choice I was brutally bullied by my previous pack. As we approached the door my thoughts slipped back to the worst day of my life. Tony’s harsh words were all I heard. He was the Alpha’s son after all and he and his friends got away with everything. “Shut the fuck up omega. You shouldn’t speak.” Tony yelled as he hit me and pushed me to the floor. “P-Please stop.” I whimpered and his smirk widened. “Keep begging. Maybe I’ll stop when I feel like it.” He smirked. He banged my head against the wall and held me in place. “You’re not worth anything.” His hand wandered to my shirt and he pulled it apart. The buttons scattered on the floor and the humiliation hit me like a bullet. His friends laughed, watching, and not saying anything. “I could take you right here but you aren’t even worth it. Now grovel bitch!” He yelled. “I’m s-sorry.” The tears were flooding out of my eyes and I begged for him to leave me alone. The laughter from his friends and other pack members shattered me as I begged Tony to stop. I went to bed without dinner that night. My mother was a scout and barely at home. I had no one to lean on and she turned a blind eye to the abuse. I did all the laundry and cooked for the entire pack as well but I was barely given any food. “Lucas and I will be departing this evening on a pack alliance tour.” She added snapping me out of my thoughts. “ I don’t want to stay here- “It’s not up for discussion.” She dismissed me as she rang the doorbell. A few moments later the door swung open. A tall middle aged man stood there, a polite smile on his face. “We’ve been expecting your arrival. We kindly welcome our soon-to -be Luna.” “Charmed to meet you. You must be Beta Jonah.” Sylvia smiled her voice suddenly sweet. That was mother. She was a good pretender. “And this must be your daughter. We are happy to have you here.” “Thanks.” I smiled meekly, a soft murmur leaving my lips. “Let’s get you both settled in. The pack is formerly waiting to meet you both.” “And we are excited to meet the entire pack as well.” Mother beamed as she walked into the house. “Please follow me.” Jonah led us down the hallway and into a large room where the members of the pack stood as if awaiting royalty. The chatter died as we entered the room and all eyes were suddenly on us. I couldn’t handle this. It was too much, them staring at us like made me think about the way it was back in my old pack house. “I would like to formally present our soon-to-be Luna, Sylvia and her daughter Amara. They are a part of our pack and we will all treat them like family.” Jonah smiled. I glanced at a girl sitting in the front row, her face contorted in disgust as she stared at me. She was quite the looker, her blonde hair was tied into a messy bun and her blue electric eyes made me feel inferior. I wished I could disappear into the shadows as the girl’s cruel gaze bore into me. Leaning over to her friends, she whispered something and they all laughed. Were they talking about me? “Thank you all for having us here. I can’t wait to bond with all of you and make our pack stronger.” Sylvia smiled. I subconsciously took a step back, I didn’t know what to say or even do for that matter. “Everyone will have time to get acquainted. But for now, I will settle them in,” Jonah announced, his voice echoing across the quiet room. My eyes drifted toward a boy standing near the back. He raised an eyebrow at me, clearly unimpressed. His dark hair was tousled, jaw tight, and posture radiating a cold dominance that made her heart thud uncomfortably. I quickly looked away. Is he one of the Alpha’s sons? He exuded a powerful aura. “Kindly follow me to your rooms,” Jonah said with a polite nod. As I turned toward the stairs, I dared a glance back. He was looking at me and his lips curled into a smirk. “An omega without a wolf. That’s funny,” he said loudly enough for me to hear. “Such a loser,” another voice muttered beside him, followed by a low laugh. I could feel my chest tighten , shame was burning in my throat. I kept my eyes forward, forcing my legs to move as quickly as possible up the stairs. Mother shot me a sharp glance, warning me not to fall behind. Her heels clicked confidently against the marble, each step deliberate and elegant as though she already belonged. I envied her and how she was able to fit in while I just stuck out. “This is your room.” Jonah explained to mother and she nodded. “Thank you so much.” She was already fitting in. “Amara your room is on the third floor with your brothers. I’m sure you would feel safer knowing that they are with you.” Jonah smiled. I know that wasn’t true and I would just lock myself away in my room.“This can’t be true,” Alpha Bruce bellowed. “Besides what proof does she have?” Joseph added. “Proof you say? We were there and we saw what happened. What other proof do you need?” Draven added. “This could just be some baseless accusation to cause trouble. I don’t trust it. My son is perfect and he would never do something like that.” Joseph said. “And as future Alpha, Jace wouldn’t think about drugging someone. If this is a jab at the alliance we have, we can forget even being allies.” Bruce added, his loud voice rang out. “I can’t believe you all won’t admit your children are trash. This is hilarious.” Thorne released a dry chuckle. “If it’s a war you want well- “It’s true,” Jace interrupted and everyone turned to look at him. His eyes found mine and by some measure I held his gaze. “My friends and I drugged Amara. We slipped something into her drink. In fact, I was the one that slipped it into her drink. What we usually do is get girls to have sex with us by doi
“Are you okay?” Ronan’s deep voice penetrated my ears as I sat at the table. “Just fine.” I whispered back and he raised a brow. “You’re lying to me. What’s wrong?” He pressed. “Will you stop? It’s nothing.” I yelled back. My voice raised more than intended and I got a few looks. “Is everything alright Amara ?” Alpha Lucus asked, his attention was focused on me. “Yes, everything is fine. Sorry for the interruption.” “That’s okay. We will begin shortly.” My mother shot me a sharp look. Her eyes were very telling. I could not screw up. Soon enough, the Alpha, his son Jace, the Luna, the Beta, his son Michael, Nova and her dad had arrived. Tension filled the air as we waited for them to begin. Jace’s father, Alpha Bruce, stood up. “I just want to make it very clear that your sons have no right intervening in the mating situation concerning Nova. I don’t know if you’ve heard but some members of your pack began bickering because of it. Fights started brewing
When we got to school we were greeted by Michael. His face was plastered with a stupid grin. Michael smirked as we passed him, his gaze lingering on Nova like she was property. “See you later, sweetheart,” he drawled, but Nova flipped him off without breaking stride. School was a blur of avoidance maneuvers. I stuck to Nova like glue, dodging the usual spots where the boys hung out, the locker bay where Thorne flirted with everyone, the quad bench Draven claimed for “strategic observation.” Ronan didn’t go to school; he was older, already handling pack duties full-time, training recruits and patrolling borders. But his absence didn’t stop the texts from piling up on my phone: Thorne’s cheeky emojis, Ronan’s concerned “You okay?”, Draven’s straightforward “Talk to us.” “Why are you ghosting them?” Nova whispered during history class, passing a note under the desk. We’d claimed seats in the back, away from the pack kids who shot us curious glances. I scribbled back: “Mom’s w
Tears welled in my eyes as I listened to her words. She sighed, unlocking the door. “Think about it. And stay away from their room. Lucus won’t tolerate scandals under his roof.” With that, she left, the door clicking shut like a final judgment. I sank onto my bed, knees drawn up, burying my face in my hands. Were they just playing? Or was this real—the way Thorne’s smirk made my heart race, Ronan’s protectiveness grounded me, Draven’s quiet intensity saw through me? I shook off my thoughts and hit the shower. I let the cold water run over my body, erasing all the thoughts that raced through my mind. I brushed my hair and got dressed for school, opting for a cute black romper and sandals. When I went downstairs I met the boys already waiting for me. “Ready to bounce?” Thorne asked and I shook my head. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to actually go with Nova this morning.”Thorne’s smirk faltered for a split second, his amber eyes narrowing as he leaned against the kitchen cou
Thorne rolled his eyes and scoffed but not before sending me a cheeky wink. “Listen, the best option here is to just play it cool. Explain everything to your dad and the Beta and I mean everything. Then reject Michael. It’s that simple.” Draven said and I shook my head. “You know it’s not goi
Thorne twisted around fully now, his eyes gleaming with that trademark mischief. “So, what’s the plan? Hide out at the cabin? Or confront the prick head-on? I vote confrontation—nothing like a good showdown to clear the air.” “Everything is a showdown for you,” Draven scoffed. Nova managed a w
“You guys came all the way here for me?” Ronan raised a brow. He was closing up the shop he worked in. Their father owned a chain of car dealerships and other businesses. “Yeah,” I said, stepping out of the car with a smile. “Detour turned into a rescue mission.” Nova waved from the back. “H
Nova’s voice echoed slightly in the confined space of the car, the speakerphone mode accidentally toggled on in her haste. She quickly switched it off, pressing the phone to her ear, but not before we all caught the gruff, authoritative tone on the other end. “Nova? Where the hell are you? I’ve
