I had almost chosen to go with a small dagger with me but I decided against that, Logan was smart and it was too early to take his guard down. If I mess it up, he would not spare me. The so-called King had just summoned me to his room in the early hours of the night and I couldn’t help but wonder what diabolic plans he had for me now.

I understood that my life henceforth was going to be a den of misery but what gave me hope was the idea of a sweet revenge. When the time is right, I would make that son of a bastard pay for his crimes against my family and the people of Winchester.

I arrived at the King’s chambers and took a deep breath, I had promised myself that I wouldn’t shed any more tears. I can't believe his audacity to move into my father’s chambers, to sleep in his room and on the royal matrimonial bed.

Without knocking, I barged into the King’s bedroom and I immediately regretted that decision- Logan was lying completely naked on my father’s bed, a smug smile
