Victor POV

After a long night of keeping watch on the border, it went exactly like Natalia said it would. None of the rogues tried to get into the Kingdom and only a few werewolves from the Kingdom filtered past the border. Their noses were stuck in the air, hunting down their mates. The sky is turning into a purplish hue indicating that the sun is slowly rising in the East. Letting out a loud sigh, I stretch my arms out to my sides and head back to the rogue camp to get some much needed sleep beside my mate. Jax is already purring gently in my head with excitement.

Slowly I walk back to the rogue camp with Jax chattering loudly in my mind. He is complaining that he had to spend the full moon away from his mate because I did not trust her judgment.
