Chapter Forty-Eight

Axel and I had just had dinner together, he still had one last meeting before he could fully be done with his day. I had a clear schedule as always, so I went to the bedroom to start getting ready for the evening. I was laying on my stomach reading a book when the door opens, Hannah walking in sending me a smile as she went.

“I hope I’m not intruding.” She smiles hanging by the door for a second, I smile shaking my head placing the book which I was reading on the bedside table. “Joey is in a meeting with Axel but I didn’t feel like being alone, so I thought I’d come see how you’re doing, we haven’t spent much time together lately, with you and your many adventures.” She laughs closing the main door behind her, I laugh as she begins to walk around the room smiling.
