Chapter 10

I stared at him in shock, my mind racing with the implications of his words. "So that's how I have this magic?" I asked, still trying to wrap my head around it all.

The werewolf nodded. "Yes, you inherited the magic that was meant to be mine. But it's not just yours, it's ours. We're connected, you and I. And I promise to always protect you and keep you safe."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. How was it possible that I had inherited this magic, and how was I connected to this werewolf? But as he spoke, I felt a warmth fill my chest. I knew that I could trust him and that he would always be there for me. And at that moment, I knew that I had found a true friend and ally in the werewolf.

"Oh, you asked me for my name right. I forgot to tell you what it is... It's-" he said. But before I could hear what his name was, I was back in my bedroom, wide awake.

I had no clue what to do anymore. It was all so strange and confusing. No wonder my relatives considered the power a curse. Now t
