Fifty Four

Oma's POV.

Maggie, Yara and I waited patiently for the Kyle and Mauris to arrive. I asked the maids to show them to the game room when they arrived. The girls and I spent our time playing a game of chess, I could tell Yara wasn't with us but I could understand, a closed room filled with powerful men discussing about you can be very unnerving.

I don't know how long we've waited in the room but it felt like hours, suddenly the doors flew open and Kyle stood at the entrance, his eyes dark and dangerous. Something must be wrong, his expression only showed that something bad must have happened at the meeting. We all jumped up, looking at his face expectantly. His eyes washed over me, Maggie and then when it rested on Yara, it grew darker. Yara must have noticed it because she moved back to hide behind me.

"I need to talk to you Oma, alone." He dragged his last word. I nodded and turned to the girls.

"You should wait here for Mauris." I said to them, they both nodded and Maggie helped Yara
