Chapter 1: Triplets.

In a dark forest where crickets are the only one’s creating noise, three boys are standing in front of me. They were all oozing hot and handsome. Based on their facial features, they were identical triplets with their lean and wide shoulders, and a height of almost 6’ flat.

It was such a nice view to have masculine handsome guys in front of me, but what surprised me is when hairs started to grow all over their bodies, particularly to their faces. I stepped back as I became so confused at what was happening… Until they started to grow bigger and taller! Fear ran through my chest and I started trembling.

“What the hell?!” I shouted. “Get away from me!”

But no one responded. The three of them started to turn into a wild animal; werewolves to be exact! They all growl together which sends shivers down my spine. I trembled more! And what shocked me the most is when they opened their mouths, revealing their sharp fangs.

With my body still trembling and cold because of nervousness, I quickly ran away!

“Oh God!” I shouted at the top of my lungs. “Please, don’t kill me!”

Panting, I woke up from that nightmare. Beads of sweats formed into my forehead as I sat up on the bed and caught my own breath.

“I still have that nightmare,” I murmured.

In the past six years, I have been dreaming of that nightmare. I want to forget those three men, but I couldn’t. Those werewolves, I was hoping to forget them sooner.

One thing that I'm thankful for was, I couldn’t remember their faces whenever I woke up. At least, I don’t remember what they look like now…

It was a sunny day and I just got out of the shower to dress up for my graduation today. I’m in my last day of college, and hoping to get a job as soon as possible.

Mom has been complaining to me that she has used up almost all of my father’s money that we inherited from him right after he died. Ever since the day my Dad died, Mom never tried working. She lived her life as a wealthy daughter and a wealthy pampered wife so she lacks money-making skills. That’s the problem with women who came from a noble family and were raised to be the wife of a wealthy man. When her husband died, she couldn’t live long.

I was hoping that our money would last ‘till I got a job to sustain our life. Especially that my Mom was used to living with luxuries!

A knock on my door made me stop wearing my necklace. “Come in, Mom—”

I hadn't finished what I was saying when the door opened and Mom went inside with all smiles.

“Ginny, honey! Good morning!” Mom greeted, smiling.

“Morning too, Mom!” I greeted her back.

She walked towards me with her red high heels that she bought from a famous luxury brand. Then she kissed both my cheeks before she helped me wearing the necklace that my Dad gave me before he died seven years ago…

“You’re so beautiful, dear! You look a lot like me,” she mumbled and then held my shoulders. “I’m happy for your graduation!”

“Thanks, Mom!”

“Anyway, after your graduation, I will introduce you to my fiance,” she said.

My brow arched. “Mom, did I hear it right? You were going to remarry?”

“Yeah, he is a retired soldier. He’s handsome, kind and most of all, he’s wealthy,” Mom giggled.

“Mom… are you sure you’re fine marrying him? You don’t have to get married if it was just because of his wealth. After all, I can find a decent job now to sustain us.”

“Ginny, I am not that kind of woman. Of course, I would marry him because of love and not just because I needed him.”

Although Mom clarified that it was all because of love, I didn’t know why but I still feel nervous. It made me nervous, more than the fact that today was my graduation ceremony.

Mom attended the ceremony and let me join the mini party for the graduates. I enjoyed it a little but the nervousness of meeting my soon to be stepfather still bothered me.

At exactly seven in the evening, Mom fetched me with the car that was left to us. We had a lot of cars before. But she had sold a lot of our cars that my father brought when he was still alive.

“Mom, I’m nervous about this. You can still back out!” I reminded her.

But Mom just chuckled while she continued driving. “Tell that to me once you see him!”

I just shrugged and then looked at the window to see where we were going.

Not that long, we stopped in front of a fine dining restaurant. I was impressed that the guy she was going to marry reserved a table in this kind of restaurant. Then Mom wasn’t bluffing when she said that he was wealthy.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, Mom waved her hand while she was smiling. I looked up in the direction where I saw she was waving. There I saw a man sitting in a more private area. I can’t see him properly but he looked decent.

And when we finally arrived in front of the man, he stood up and then looked down at me and my Mom.

“Hi, Love!” He called Mom with his deep voice. Then he leaned closer to her, and kissed her on the lips.

The way Mom looked at him was so genuine! Which I never saw from her after my Dad passed away!

Then the man looked at me. His piercing green eyes made my heart jump out of my chest. He is a middle-aged man, maybe the same age as my Mom. But what feared me about him was his sturdy, rough-looking features, though he was still handsome. Maybe because he was a retired soldier, that’s why he had that bigger body built. Without saying any word, he was screaming with a powerful aura that anyone could be scared of him? His height also added fear to him.

“You must be Ginny?” he asked.

I blinked then swallowed the lump on my throat. “Y-yeah…”

Darn! Why did I stutter?

“I am Fernando Stevens, your soon to be father.” He introduced himself. Then lend his hand to me.

Hesitating, I looked at his big hand that was twice bigger than mine. If it’s not because of my mother, I wouldn’t accept his hand. He was really scary!

He gently shook my small hand. “It was nice to finally meet you.”

“Nice to meet you too, Sir!” I gave him a weird smile, I’m sure of that!

“Take a seat. I’m sorry, my sons are late. We’ll wait for them before we start eating,” he said.

“Excuse me, sons? With s, Sir?”

“Oh munchkin, you don’t have to call me, Sir. Just call me, Dad!” Fernando stated.

I only gave him a weird smile. I wasn’t comfortable calling him that yet. If I was younger, maybe. But I’ve already graduated college!

“Give me some time to adopt, Fernando.”

He seemed like he was disappointed with my answer but then he still nodded and agreed.

“You’re right, I can’t force you to call me Dad…” he murmured. “But anyway, my sons are about the same ages as you. I’m sure you’ll get along living together with them.

“Sons? Do you mean that you have more than one son?”

“Yes, actually they were triplets.”

“Oh… that’s incredible,” I smiled. “I’m sure it’s a headache to have a triplets son.”

“Yeah, sure it is!” he chuckled.

I took a glass of water to drink. To be honest, I was just faking my smile and laugh. I am not comfortable yet though he looked so kind. As we waited for the triplets to come, I didn't know why but I felt uneasy.

Not that long, Fernando stood up with his wide smile.

“My sons!” he yelped.

Because of curiosity, I turned to see where he waved at. At first, I didn’t recognize their faces. Until they finally stood in front of me…

“Ginny, this is my triplets son. Caled, Spencer and Drake,” he introduced them.

My heart almost popped out of my chest as I remembered their faces. Even the three of them were all shocked to see me.

Because these guys…

“Hi, Virginia! It was nice to meet you!” Spencer said and then winked.

“Nice to have a beautiful sister like you!” Drake winked.

“We’re looking forward to having fun with you!” Caled added.

I didn’t know why, but they looked familiar to me. Their faces, I’m sure that I have seen them before but… I couldn’t figure out where?
